International Sports Day.

I know there are many in this land who wish that The Olympic Games Act 2006, that marvelous example of legislative corporate fascism that is currently being enforced in our so called democracy, could have been a tad more extensive. A democracy where  a so called 'sports reporter'can call for workers to be sacked for having the temerity to exercise their democratic right, after a legally held ballot, even though as a BBC employee he should be politically impartial. Yes I talking about you Gary Richardson, you middle England, daily mail reading fascistic KN*****D.
I get the impression that many would like an added clause that allows for the execution of any person who should dare to criticise the games. But they miss the point, mainly because most of them are thick as s**t. The criticism is not of the games, it is the organisation, the destruction of civil liberties and cost of the games. Listed below are some examples.Perhaps you would like to defend them.

  • The games are costing between 9bn and 12bn. 1bn (10%) of that is supplied by the corporate sponsors, 90% is tax payer funded.Yet it is the tax payers who are having their civil liberties dismantled while corporate sponsors interests are being brazenly promoted by the government and locog.
  • The corporate sponsors are anti-business. The tax funded brand police clamp down on any small business attempting to profit from the Olympics. Examples being, florists having to take down Olympic themed displays. a baker being told to remove an Olympic ring display of  bagels, people being forbidden from holding an 'Olympic fete', a Weymouth butcher being forced to remove an Olympic rings display of sausages. The words 'Olympic'. '2012' and 'summer' being copyrighted. This is corporate fascism where massive multi nationals are attempting to destroy competition and monopolise the market.
  • Spectators being told what they can and cannot wear i.e if you attempt to enter the Olympic park wearing a tee shirt with a Pepsi logo and nike trainers you will be probably be turned away. So said Lord Coe in an interview at the weekend, although he wasn't sure about the trainers. Nice to know he's got his finger on the pulse of things.
  • You cannot bring a flag in of any nation that is not participating. That is code for we will not allow the flag of Tibet to be waved in case it annoys the chinese. In other words, although you supposedly live in a democracy, we are happy to suppress freedom of expression in the interests of non democratic one party states.
  • Placing ground to air missiles on the top of peoples homes without consultation. The sort of thing you would expect a one party state to do. Also, this is a pathetic example of machismo from the the man child currently holding the post of PM. It is interesting the missiles are placed on social housing rather that on the mansions of Kensington and Chelsea.
  • The imposition of zil lanes for the convenience of the 'Olympic family' and 'VIP's'. Of course it is important for Usain Bolt or Jessica Ennis to get to the stadium on time, that is understandable, but who cares if the CEO of Coca Cola, the Saudi Arabian ambassador or some middle manager from Mcdonalds gets there late, tough. It's  the 90% that are made to walk in the gutter even though the 90% paid for the roads.
  • Lord Coe is coming across as nothing more than a brown nosing corporate lackey. He only got the gig because he won gold medals in games that  had boycotts. So really those medals don't count Lord Coe.
  • Mcdonalds making it illegal to sell 'chips' in the Olympic Park.
  • The G4S fiasco. Another example of the public sector bailing out the private sector. The worst aspect of this fiasco is not the fact that a penalty clause was not in the contract. No, the worst aspect is that soldiers, having come back from Afghanistan, are then told by self serving politicians that  they must cancel holidays, preventing them from spending precious time with their families. The nightmare scenario for MP's and G4S CEO Buckles is that a soldier has to return to Afghanistan without seeing his family and gets killed.
We dissenters are looking forward to a festival of sporting excellence. I myself am very excited about the hop skip and jumping, the synchronised drowning  swimming and the one where they wave a ribbon around their heads. Its just a shame it has to be conducted a midst a swamp of wealth, greed, privilege, self interest and incompetence.

On a lighter note, apparently the coach containing the USA athletics team took a wrong turn when leaving Heathrow and 4hrs later it was trying to negotiate the Swindon one way system. An athlete tweeted that those on board were sleepy, hungry and needing to pee. It good to know that the dwarves that failed the Snow White audition have found new careers in athletics.

Badger Cull.

I think farmers should get more for the milk they produce. Perhaps then, they can put their hands in their pockets and pay to have badgers vaccinated against TB rather than blowing the brains out of an iconic symbol of the  British countryside.Although I doubt if they will. They'll probably blow it on a new 4x4 instead.

PC Harwood.

Harwood was a thug in uniform. It is a disgrace that he was able to avoid disciplinary action for assault and altering notes by simply resigning from his post with the Metropolitan Police only to be re hired by them 4 yrs later after another complaint of excessive force was made against him while serving with Surrey Police. This time by a fellow officer. Another disturbing fact is that since 1990 there have been 1,433 deaths involving police officers without one single prosecution. The main problem is that some coppers see themselves as being part of a Police Force when in fact they are a Police Service.

Hypocrisy of MP's

An argument that is frequently leveled at people looking for work, in particular the young,is that they can be quite choosy over the type of jobs they will take . The expectation being that if there was a job going that involved suffocating old people in their sleep or if the local council were looking for a cost effective way of removing chewing gum from pavements and decided that a good way would be to employ someone to get down on their hands and knees and lick it off then people should put aside their principles, their pride, their dreams and aspirations and grasp the opportunity with both hands because of political expediency. Politicians are forever banging on about the importance of attending school, studying hard, being aspirational, achieving good qualifications and possibly going to university only to get all precious and indignant when those same students turn around and say no, I'm not prepared to do any crappy job just because it suits the political landscape. If the politicians cannot facilitate the aspirations of people who did everything that was expected of them by studying hard, perhaps retraining at their own expense, and achieving the desired qualifications then it is the politicians that have failed and they should step aside and let more competent people take their place. It is not the responsibility of someone who played by the rules to sacrifice their ONE LIFE! because MP's are crap at their jobs and are unable to create a society where people can fulfill their potential.

The solution is simple. All you crappy MP's step aside and resign and get pavement licking and make way for people who can do the job.

Cameron's Not Got the Answers Again.

I don't think Cameron understands  the role of Prime Minister. He seems to be forever asking questions when the idea is he is suppose to have the answers. The latest example being when he said he couldn't understand why over 50% of Olympic medals were won by British athletes that had been to Public Schools when only 7% of children are educated at Public Schools.

I'll help the dumb t**t on this one.

  • Public Schools have charity status which frees up thousands of pounds for expenditure on resources.
  • Facilities at Public Schools are far superior because of this.
  • The selling off of playing fields.
  • The entrance level costs of most sports whether it be the use of facilities or equipment. i.e rowing, equestrianism, yachting, even sports such as cricket and rugby have a much larger public school involvement due to cost, access and opportunity.
  • It is no coincidence that the majority of children, particularly ethnic and black, from low income homes are successful in  sports such as athletics and football. Involvement requires little or no expense and opportunity is greater.
These are simple answers that are as plain as the nose on your face. A Prime Minister of Gt Britain and N. Ireland should not be asking questions like some naive six year old. If I catch him doing it again I will tell him the truth about Father Christmas and he'll probably spend the rest of the day in the nursery crying into nanny boo boo's lap.

I Could be Prime Minister. It's An Easy Job.

Imagine a job where you have massive resources. When every minute of your day is planned by an army of civil servants. You even have someone to look after your diary. You never have to worry about train or bus times, do the shopping or the housework. Every time you need advice you can call on experts in any field. You literally have billions of pounds available to you. There is never a time when you have to make a decision on your own.
That's the role of The Prime Minister. Dead easy. So its a shame Cameron ruins it by allowing arrogance, ego, and ideologue get in the way of rational decision making.

Missiles.

It is amusing how the occupants of a blocks of flats in London are told that they must have high velocity missiles situated 40 feet from them because it is in the nations interests, so tough.Yet, when High Speed Rail 2 is planned, which I also presume is in the nations interests as it will provide jobs, an improved rail network and encourage growth, suddenly when a lot of people start complaining because it may ruin the view from their country estate the Government bends over backwards to accommodate them. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that one group are tenants in social housing and the others are residents in Tory constituencies

Andy Murray

Apparently it is quite touching when a multi millionaire tennis player cries on national television because he lost. The BBC were so enamoured by it that they continued to cover it for the next 48 hours. I personally found it incredibly embarrassing and I didn't even see it. I only heard it on the radio. What it does demonstrate is the ongoing infantilisation of society by the media and the establishment. The message is don't worry how crap things are and how we fail to report the truth, look there's a grown man crying. 'Aah, it's lovely inn''t.It just' bread and circuses' for the masses.
For those of you who enjoyed a grown man booing like a little girl and would like to see it  again. Here is what you do. Get Andy Murray to work 50 hours in a care home. At the end of the week give him £250  and remind him that  the £250 is before tax. Stand at a safe distance and observe.

Where's The Anger?

Currently Britain is being run by a Government that is borderline incompetent. It is a Government that has made more U-turns than a kitten chasing its own tail. The last budget was a catastrophic disaster not only in it content but also in its delivery. How Vince Cable manages to continue in his roll as a junior to Osborne is beyond me. The comparison is frightening. In Mr Cable you have a man who was condemning the bankers years ago, who questioned Bob Diamonds appointment but was dismissed out of hand, who showed absolute awareness of who Murdoch was and the type of  corporation he controlled and even questioned the dangers of capitalism. He has a boss in Osborne who has never had a proper job, lives a life of privilege with massive inherited wealth and has no awareness at all about life outside the aristo/politcal bubble he travels in. In a nutshell he is a posh, chinless knob head who is currently in a job way above his competencies.

If Cameron was genuinely governing in the interest of the nation he would make Vince Cable Chancellor of the Exchequer now.  But of course Cameron has never governed in the interest of the nation. He governs in the interests of Cameron, motivated  by the hatred and prejudices of all  people that are not of his class. That hatred never more vividly demonstrated than his continuing politically motivated demonisation of anybody on welfare along with his efforts to privatise the NHS. His motivation on destroying the NHS being along the lines of " why do I have to pay for the children of riff raff to have access to free healthcare". His motivation for his attacks on benefit claimants being that he knows it plays well with the 'daily heil' and its fascistic acolytes and it is the only way he can get any sort of bounce in the polls. I predict Camerons next attack on the welfare system will be the next time the government screws up, or the next Tory party donor funding scandal, or some similar evidence of incompetence. I do not know which is sadder, Camerons arrogance in his belief that the public are too stupid to realise that his welfare attacks are a smoke screen to divert them from the governments inadequacies or that the public actually fall for all this divide and rule bu****it.

Currently we are living in a society where bankers can bring the economy to it's knees, putting thousands out of work, and yet be bailed out by taxpayers, yet the worst they have to fear is having to sit in front of a toothless enquiry or having their knighthood removed. Meanwhile if you steal a bottle of water your banged up for 6 months with your life destroyed. Politicians can defraud thousands in taxpayers money via expense claims and not even lose their job as an MP while if you take the left shoe from a pair of trainers...well, you know where I'm going.

Cameron does not want a judicial enquiry into the finance industry mainly because it would involve and implicate people who donate millions to the Tory party. Their ploy is to attempt to tarnish the Labour government as being complicit and present the sons and daughters of investment bankers and Trust Fund managers, as holier than thou. Another concern of the Tory's, if a full judicial inquiry was held, would be ruining the possibility of  filling all those non-executive positions waiting for them on bank boards when they leave or are kicked out of office.

So I ask the question again Where's the Anger? A nation where private firms make millions out of making people homeless, removing benefits from the disabled, unemployed and the low paid. Where if you steal a bottle of water you are imprisoned but if you defraud the nation of millions you get to retire on a multi million pound pension. Where politicians in the Houses of Parliaments can claim hundreds a month in food expenses but a mile down the road children visit food banks for a square meal. Where the poor and vulnerable are constantly attacked and vilified by people of inherited wealth who have never had a proper job in their lives  and the gulf between rich and poor grows ever wider but 'feckless' bond traders are allowed to bet and lose millions knowing that the losses will be covered by the taxpayer.

The politicians and bankers are revolting why aren't the people.

A Nation in Mourning.

Do you remember the day. I do. It was a typical summers day. Birds were singing. It was raining and blowing a gale. Seagulls were attacking people eating ice creams. Cameron was attacking welfare claimants. Bankers were stealing the nations wealth. And then I heard it announced on the radio. I could tell the announcer was trying desperately to hold back the tears. I myself dropped to my knees and in a cry of desperation screamed " Why Lord,Why,.... Oh the humanity". The news spread. Young girls wept openly. Men hid their tears but you could sense their pain. It was a day that would for ever be buried in the psyche of a nation. The Normandy Landings,The Battle of Britain,1966, 1066, VE Day, the Moon Landings and the day 'becks' wasn't selected for the GB Olympic Football Team. " Oh the humanity".

Obamacare

In the United States, the worlds richest nation, approximately 30 million people do not have access to healthcare. A law has been passed to remedy the situation. A good thing you would have thought. Apparently not, some Americans, predominantly Fascists, Republicans, want it repealed. Even the Fascist Republican Presidential Candidate, a man who apparently enjoyed sacking people for a living, wants to repeal it and is making it one of the main tenets of his manifesto. That's right, the United States of FDR, Mark Twain, Elvis, Abraham Lincoln,Jesse Owens,Harriet Tubman, Martin Luther King, Jimmy Stewart, JFK, Rosa Parks, Henry Ford and The Beverly Hillbilly's. It would seem that America is a very large nation full of a lot of small minded, nasty, venal, stupid, stupid people.
