Judas Cameron, Betrays victims.

Cameron has put his own self interests and those of his friends above the victims of the press,with his refusal to permit a statutory underpinning of the press. His cowardice in refusing to confront the press and their shortcomings, as directed by the Leveson Review, is all about Cameron, and nothing to do with justice and right and wrong and everything to do with the next General Election.
His statement in the commons was an exercise in crowing, because Leveson failed to condone Jeremy Hunt and his dealings with News International. It has to be said that Politicians and the police got off incredibly lightly in the report, when you consider their was a triumvirate of self interest and criminal complicity between parts of the press, police and politicians, which lead to innocent people being victimised, abused, arrested, their privacy invaded, and nothing but lies and filth being printed about them.
Now to add insult to injury, the craven Cameron has thrown the victims of the press under the bus, purely for political expediency and personal gain. At least Milliband and Clegg, knowing full well the press will heap a bucket of crap over them at every opportunity,had the guts, and were brave enough to stand up in the house of commons and support the report.
I think that Murdoch, Cameron had already made his mind up,or his mind was made up for him, and that his post Leveson statement for the commons had been written for him weeks ago by Murdoch, Wade and Coulson, with help from that moralising voyeur Dacre and Murdoch's quisling placemen in the government the vile Gove and the oily Hunt.
Now we are in a situation where any excesses, corruption or wrongdoing by the press and by any politicians, police or anyone the press considers to be their supporters will be suppressed, so as not to prove that things have not changed and the press will carry on as normal.
By refusing to implement the Leveson proposals we will end up with more corruption by police, more abuses of power by press barons and journalists and the politicians considered friendly to the press will get an easy ride and be allowed to get away with blue murder, whether it be expense fiddling, mortgage flipping (Osborne!), abuse of their position or lying to the public.

We will end up with the exact opposite of free speech, because people with power, money and influence will be able to say and do as they please with impunity, whereas poorer people, when slandered and liabled by the press, will be denied access to justice, because they cannot afford it. Allowing the press to continue to print what they like.Welcome to the country of haves and have nots. The wealth gap continues to widen.

All Leveson has proposed is that the press set up a fully independent complaints commission, that is free of conflicts of interests, and makes the press accountable for their actions, just like lawyers, electricians, television companies and doctors. That is what the majority of the general public wants. The public does not trust the press.

What we have is a craven and coward Prime Minister, who is in the pockets of the press barons, and because of political expediency and self interests, has betrayed the innocent victims of the press, as well as the British Public, leading to nothing changing. Innocent people will continue to be accused of crimes they didn't commit, parents will continue to be accused of murdering and hiding the body of their abducted daughter  in a freezer and then have the private diary of the grieving mother printed for all to read, and grieving parents of a murdered schoolgirl will have their privacy invaded and blown apart and their grief intensified, because scum like the coward Cameron wants more votes and the gutter press wants to sell more rags.

Osbornes Ideological Crimes Against the Nation.

The right wing press have had a field day over recent weeks 'George bashing'. The George in question being the former Director General of the BBC, George Entwistle. It a shame they do not expend as much energy pointing out the incompetence of another George. In this case Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, but I suppose that would be ideologically incorrect for the headbangers of the right wing press.
The immorality and injustice of Osbornes ideological attack on the poorest in this country while he allows massive multinationals and the wealthy to escape tax, as well as his own financial dealings, makes me, to paraphrase Cameron, feel physically sick.

Some unpleasant facts:

• The tax gap between what HMRC is receiving and what it should be receiving in corporation tax is between £4 billion and £6 billion. The real figure, according to Tax Research UK, could be in excess of £10 billion.
• Corporation tax receipts levied on large companies fell by 6.4 per cent.
• Since the March budget, Corporations have paid 10 per cent less in corporation tax.
• The reduction in the top rate of tax will equate to handing the wealthiest people in this country in excess of £40,000 of taxpayers money annually.
• Borrowing has increased over the first seven months of 2012-2013 financial year  by £5 billion and could rise to £15 billion by the year end. 
• Google reported revenues in the year 2011 of £395 million. It paid  £6 million in corporation tax.
• Amazon booked sales of £33 billion in 2011, but paid no corporation tax at all.
• Starbucks claim they have not made any profit, apart from one year, at all in Britain for 15 years.
• George Osborne flipped his second home, then sold it at a £400,000 profit. As the house was partly funded by the tax payer, perhaps the taxpayer should get a percentage of the profit, if not all of it.

Osborne will use these statistics as an excuse to ratchet up the Tories ideological war on the poor at the next budget review.

When I heard about the Rotherham foster care scandal and the UKip members I was fuming.... I mean, how............why did.....who decided, I mean I'm spitting feathers about this......who thought it was a good idea..........I mean how could anybody in their right mind...........I'd like to know who at the council.......really, it's a disgrace........heads should roll,really..............Why would anybody think it was a good idea to put impressionable children into that environment. Thank god the council came to its senses and removed them. I mean I'm surprised the council didn't go the full nine yards and exhume and reanimate the bodies of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun, and place the kids with them.

Flood Death Disgrace.

It is tragedy that a 21 yr old women died during the floods of last week. It is also a tragedy that in 21st century Britain this government presides over tax breaks for multinationals and the wealthy, while a 21 year old  homeless woman  dies, because the only shelter she can find to live in, in the middle of winter, is a tent.
Are you proud Osborne. You make over £400,000 by flipping one of your tax payer funded houses and want  to withdraw Housing benefit from people under 25 and a young woman is DEAD!

Gaza/Israel: A Hillbilly Feud.

The current 'war' in Gaza is really a feud. Wars generally have a chance of eventually ending and are normally fought over resources or land. Wars are normally about greed not hate. The conclusion is never to everyone's satisfaction, but, after politicians and the military have masterminded and facilitated the slaughter of innocents, for their own personal gain, the war ends.
Whereas a feud goes on and on and on. Both parties involved act irrationally, are never prepared to give any ground, normally hate each other and would gladly see the extermination and eradication of their feuding enemies.
That is where we stand with Palestine. The two protagonists hate each other and would gladly see their enemy wiped from the face of the earth. When Israeli's say, and I paraphrase ' they should level the lot of them, like the Russians did in Chechnya' and Gazan's celebrate the bombing of a mini bus in Tel Aviv, you realise that neither side wants a solution that involves any type of co-existence.
In fact the bombardment of Gaza and the slaughter of innocent women and children serves politicians on both sides equally well. The Israeli government can say to it's citizens ' look we are killing Palestinians, be happy, vote for us' and Hamas can say 'look I told you they are evil, they are killing Palestinians, vote for us.
The two state solution will never happen all the time Israel knows it has the backing of the USA. Israels fear, is that one day, that backing could be withdrawn. The re-election of Barack Obama was, in many Israeli eyes, a disaster, as Obama is perceived by many as having sympathies with oppressed people due to his Kenyan forebears experiences with the British Empire. Netanyahu, The Israeli Prime Minister, openly backed Romney for the presidency. If American backing was withdrawn, Israel would have no option but to seek a two state solution and their bargaining powers would be severely hampered, as well as knowing that many middle eastern powers will continue to seek the destruction of the Israeli state.
Although it is beneficial electorally for the Israeli  government to keep killing Palestinians, and to continue to maintain the Gaza Strip as little more than an open air penitentiary, each Palestinian death is the equivalent of a brick crumbling in the foundations of the State of Israel, as more and more people, across the world, lose sympathy with the Israeli's and their treatment of innocent Palestinian men, women and children.

Evil Tory Plan is Working.

A recent report lead by The University of Kent's social policy team has shown that thousands of people are failing to claim the benefit's they are entitled to, due to the stigmatisation and demonisation, perpetrated by the Tories and, that bastion of honesty and truth, the right wing press. So people are going without basic food and heating.
I can hear the roars of joy from the head bangers, as they realise that their policy of demonisation of the jews,whoops sorry, benefit claimants,(there are so many similarities between the workings of the Tory governments propaganda and that of the third Reich, at times it's difficult to tell the difference), is at last bearing fruits. I expect they will all have a taxpayer subsidised drink in the commons, to celebrate, and then take what ever taxpayer subsidised method of transport home to their taxpayer subsidised houses in the shires or perhaps their second taxpayer subsidised home in London, where they will have  dinner, enjoying the fact that every mouthful is paid for by the taxpayer. After that they will probably watch a bit of telly( cost claimed on expenses plus cost of TV license), while sitting on a comfy sofa ( cost claimed on expenses) in a warm cosy environment ( fuel bill payed by the taxpayer) before retiring to their taxpayer funded bed. Meanwhile thousands of people across the land, children included, die of hypothermia while battling hunger and malnutrition because the politicians and their policies have failed. They are lucky they are not paid on results.
They must feel so proud the $£$%^^Y&^&  $£%$%^&^& *&^% So*s *f B*^(tHs.

Whilst referring to the current Gaza/Israel crisis. Barack Obama said, in defence of Israeli bombing, that a sovereign state should not have to tolerate having missiles fired into their country. The question is Mr President. What's the deal with all those drone missile attacks America is currently carrying out in Pakistan then? Or is Pakistan now the 51st state of the US of A.

I know Cameron is just trying to act tough, which by the way doughnut face, just make you look stupid, alright, ( I have it on good advice that several members of the government read this blog) when he says that prisoners getting the vote makes him feel physically sick. But it's not all prisoners that would get the vote anyway. Doughnut face should read his EU memo's more thoroughly. Surely as a process of rehabilitation any prisoner that is due to be released within a four year period after a general election, should have the right to vote for the party they would prefer to be governing the country on their release.

Police Commissioners.

Many people are wondering what effect the newly elected Police Commissioners will have on policing policy in their area.This is how it will work.

If a Commissioner affiliated to the Conservative party is elected then patrols past the Golf and Country Club will be increased and council estates will not see a copper for the next four years.

If a commissioner affiliated to the Liberal Democrat party is elected then he/she will say that patrols past the organic bread shop and the sandal shop will be increased, but will actually do what the conservatives tell them to do.

If a commissioner affiliated to the Labour party is elected then foot patrols, when it's cold and/or pissing down, will be increased just to get the bastards back for the miners strike.

How many articles over the last ten years have been printed in our national newspapers about tax avoidance committed by businesses, multinational corporations and the wealthy and how many have been printed about people on welfare, probably about 1000:1 in favour of the grasping rich I would think.

Dismantling the BBC: A Tory Wet Dream

As all the right wing head bangers leap aboard the BBC bashing bandwagon, one small minority seemed to have been shunted aside and forgotten by the politicians and the media. The victims of child abuse.
 Irrespective of the fact that McAlpine was wrongly identified as an abuser, it should not cloud the fact that the North Wales children's homes, involved in the scandal, were no more than rape factories and the abusers have not faced justice, whereas  many of the abused have committed suicide, and will never see justice delivered on their behalf.
If you boil down the Newsnight fiasco, it comes down to a couple of incompetent reporters and poor line management. McAlpine is not the victim in this incredibly sordid and sad story. It is people like Steve Messham, who as a child, was raped and abused by up to fifty men, passed around from abuser to abuser, taken in his pajamas to a hotel, to be abused by several men, and the response he gets is being called 'weird' by the likes of the repellent ex-Tory MP  David Mellor,who was kicked out by his own constituents in 1997, on the Andrew Neill Show. But the Torys and certain sections of the media, see it as an excuse to advance their ideologue of breaking up the BBC.
It's a shame they don't expend the same amount of energy and indignation on sections of the press who virtually ignored reporting the criminal activities involved in the phone hacking scandal, or papers that accused Gerry McCann of killing his daughter, Madeleine, and hiding her body in a freezer. Or what about the sections of the media involved in the kangaroo court that found Christopher Jefferies guilty of the murder of Joanna Yeates. It makes you ask the question, who are these renta-gob Tory MP's, who keep turning up on Radio, TV and in the press to give the BBC a kicking, being supported by, and in who's interests are they really working for. The Nations? I do not think so. I'm certain if the guinea pig eating, former Childrens presenter, Philip Schofield, had pulled his moronic stunt on a BBC programme, the head bangers would have been screaming for his head.
Of course, with this whole sorry saga, the elephant in the room will always be Jimmy Savile. How was he allowed to get away with his activities whilst in plain site. Why was He not exposed in the media. Why or how were people who were aware of his proclivities kept quiet. What was in it for them.
This whole BBC bashing episode seems to be a massive smoke screen thrown up to divert attention from the real questions.

How did Jimmy Savile remain protected for so many years, and why?

Who were the abusers in the North Wales abuse scandal

What is the truth surrounding the allegations, made by the MP Tom Watson, about the paedophile ring centred around 10 Downing Street?

Jimmy Savile Was Not A Paedophile

He was a sexual predator who realised that he could gain access to young girls, through the abuse of his power and his position, much more easily than he could gain access, sexually, to older women. Let's be honest, the majority of older women, if propositioned by Savile, would tell him to clear off, because he was a weirdo and incredibly creepy. Whereas younger girls were probably  blinded by his fame and found it harder to resist, particularly as he was apparently a very imposing and persuasive personality. You only have to look at the people who were taken in by him, such as royalty, the Torys and Thatcher to see that. Although the revelations involving the North Wales children s homes abuse case does throw up a very nasty stink around his association with Thatcher and theTorys.
Sexual abuse is not primarily about lust, it is about power. In fact that is true of nearly all types of abuse, whether it be bullying, spousal or partner battering, sexual abuse and rape or, the most frequent type of abuse, mental abuse between partners. Saville was a bully. Highlighted quite clearly in the anecdotes told about him in his days when he ran dances in the north. An example being, when he allegedly use to parade around the dance halls with a stick, supposedly looking for trouble makers.
The most important thing now, is that the true victims receive some sort of justice and are not swept away by a lot of so called 'celebs' jumping on the bandwagon to use this whole sorry episode as a way to either justify why they never said anything at the time or to use it as a way to raise their profile. Examples of bandwagon jumping such as z-list celebs claiming 'Jimmy Savile onced looked at me pervy' or 'I was on Jim'll Fix It and he held my hand two seconds longer than I considered acceptable', but never bothered speaking up about it at the time, are just people using it as an excuse to get back in the media and say, 'look at me I'm still around and available for work' Whereas the victims, who were genuinely abused by Saville, are pushed to the margins and forgotten, because apparently their experiences are not newsworthy enough in comparison to a z-listers  vague accusations.
The people who claimed to have heard rumours or who actually had evidence of Savilles abuse, are a different more serious concern. In my experience there are only two reasons people do not report wrongdoing. Either they do not have a problem with whatever crime has or is being committed or it is in their own interests to stay quiet  and not report it. The people who had knowledge of Saviles crimes fall into one or both of these category's and must feel a great deal of shame, that they will have to carry the knowledge that they failed to speak up , to their graves, unless they come forward with that evidence now.
Savile can never be brought to justice, but many of the victims are still alive, and require some sort of closure.


The Tories must be gutted.

The victory of Obama over Romney in the American General Election probably reduced many Tories, who would have been desperate for a victory for the knuckle dragging Republicans, to tears. America re elected a president who believes in a pluralist society, has moved towards socialised healthcare,believes in fiscal stimulus, that wealthy people should pay more taxes and that Hurricane Sandy and climate change were connected. Whereas in Britain, we have a government containing millionaire ministers, who have never had a proper job and have never lifted a finger to earn their massive wealth and privilege, a cabinet full of toffs that is a mirror image of any cabinet you would expect to see in the 1850's, i.e no non whites, no women ( I'm not sure Theresa May is female),no working class, no one who has had a proper job. A government that believes the poor should pay for the deficit while the rich are given tax breaks and that fiscal stimulus is a dirty word. A government that wants to destroy the socialist concepted NHS and introduce privatised healthcare through the back door, and has just made a climate sceptic the Environment Minister.
The Tories, like the Republicans, are a bunch of knuckle dragging, anachronistic throwbacks, stuck in the nineteenth century, yearning for the days of deference,when the plebs had to doff  their caps, tug their forelocks and knew their place, and the children of the poor could be sent to work at the age of five rather than to school. To paraphrase a dalek,' Eradicate! Eradicate!'
What the American election tells us is that non progressive right wing party's are on the decline  and that pluralists are looking towards progressive liberal politics that are inclusive and meritocratic and not political party's who base their idealogue around inherited wealth, a sense of entitlement through birth and privilege.

Mensch attacks Dorries.

Louise Mensch,the ex- Tory MP who couldn't even be bothered to serve her full term, so resigned and left her constituents unrepresented for nigh on 4 months, is criticising another Tory head banger, Nadine Dorries, for going into the jungle and leaving her constituents unrepresented for possibly a month.
