Now Clegg Joins The Righteous Scum.

Nick Clegg has now joined in with Cameron and Duncan Smith for a three way bashing the Bishop orgy. He claims that  archbishop Vincent Nichols comments about poverty, hunger and the use of food banks is exaggerated and the effect the Tory's punitive welfare reforms are having on the poor and vulnerable are also exaggerated.
This is just another example of the quisling attitude the Liberal Democrats have adopted in their role as the Tory's enablers. Yet again Clegg has shown himself to be nothing more than a tory-lite orange book liberal who is happy to allow the Tory's to inflict their brutal ideologue upon a weak and defenceless section of society.
If the Tory's welfare reforms are not having a detrimental effect on the poor and if food banks are not a visible effect of those reforms then why has the government refused to publish a report on food banks that they commissioned last year? Why have they kicked it into the long grass? What is it about the report findings that they are afraid to make public?
Cameron and Duncan Smith have now attempted to portray welfare reform as some sort of moral crusade, as if they were a couple of christian missionaries bringing civilisation to the heathen masses. This fits in well with Duncan Smith, who I have always imagined being in possession of a self portrait of himself, dressed in mauve, in a priapic pose, gazing to the heavens in ecstasy while clutching a crucifix to his chest in one hand and strangling a poor orphan baby with the other. While Cameron's sudden conversion to the moral crusade argument is another example of Cameron buffing his credentials as an opportunistic chancer. I'm sure if Cameron ever picked up a bible, either him, or the bible, or possibly both, would dissolve to dust.
The Tory's welfare reforms have nothing to do with 'making work pay', they have nothing to do with 'not leaving anyone stranded on benefits' and there is nothing moral about the brutality being inflicted by a bunch of posh boy millionaires and their 'pearl and twinset' groupies.
The Tory aim, where welfare reform is concerned, is to eventually dismantle the welfare state. It is part of a Tory, three pronged, Thatcherite inspired, objective. The other two being, privatise the NHS and sell off the BBC to Murdoch. These are the policies that were drawn up on the back of a fag packet in sixth form common rooms in public schools across the land in the 1980's, in between group sessions of masturbating over pictures of Margaret Thatcher.
When you have a society where a blind man commits suicide after being  told he is fit for work and that his benefits will be cut, leading to him being evicted while a Member of Parliament ( Mark Hoban.Conservative MP for Fareham) can claim expenses for some cushions and a heated towel rail and make £144,000 profit on the sale of his tax payer funded second home, you realise that society is deeply dysfunctional. When you have a society where multi-nationals choose to pay hardly any tax, yet the poorest have to choose on a daily basis whether to 'heat or eat', you realise that society is dysfunctional. When you have a society where the Secretary to the Treasury, Danny Alexander, can claim over £10000, to cover travel expenses for his children, yet there are children going to bed hungry because benefits have been sanctioned for various spurious reasons, you realise society is dysfunctional. When you have a society where ministers are so out of touch with reality and process ( Lord Freud; Take note. This bit's about you, you dense, ignorant, odious little f***w*t), that they think that you can just rock up at a food bank and fill a few carrier bags with free food when in fact you have to be referred by a government agency or a Jobcentre, you realise how dysfunctional this government is.
This is the world gleefully being built by the Tory's and their quisling collaborators the LibDems. A world for the few where the many are nothing more than drones, employed to work and create wealth for the few, whilst they themselves are paid poverty wages and have nothing to aspire to except an early death. If they fall out of work they will be subjected to a regime of demonisation and sanctions perpetrated by Jobcentreplus employees whose main objective is to de-humanise the claimant and infer, either directly or indirectly, that the claimant is the problem and all the nations woes have nothing to do with grasping bankers, non-tax paying corporations or a self serving elite but because you lost your job as a call centre worker and now you have the temerity to turn down a job stunning and slitting the throats of squealing pigs in an abbattoir or fattening the bottom line of a company while working for nowt on The Work Programme. Walking into a Jobcentreplus is like walking into a smacked arse convention and it is no surprise that manipulated unemployment figures have dropped when thousands choose to declare themselves as self employed rather than subject themselves to a weekly or fortnightly ritual humiliation in these charnel houses of despair and contempt. This is the society dreamed of in those common rooms by the pampered toffs who would never have to get a proper job but would become millionaires through inherited wealth.
How can these people have any idea what life is like for someone trying to bring a family up on minimum wage? What are the qualifications they have attained that allow them to rule over other peoples lives and make catastrophic decisions that send the less fortunate spiraling into poverty and debt?
The answers are, they have no idea about the lives of anybody outside the incestuous political/media/celebrity circle they exist in. They have no qualifications.
They are detached and unqualified and are driven by nothing more than hate and ideologue. They lie, misinform, disseminate and bullshit. Clegg himself, when attacking Arch Bishop Nichols comments, stated that a quarter of government spending was on welfare, failing to clarify that 60% of that total consisted of pension payments for the elderly. They treat the general public as idiots, who are incapable of free thinking and are happy to be spoon fed  lies. This, unfortunately, is true of many members of the public, particularly the knuckle dragging readers of the right wing rags, who are happen to ignore the facts so their prejudices can be justified.
Arch Bishop Nichols is not the first turbulent priest to challenge the ruling classes and I would not be surprised if Cameron had not considered the fate of a predecessor of Arch Bishop Nichols, that of Thomas 'a Becket, and considered the possibility of dispatching some murderous knights.Unfortunately for Cameron and his ilk, they will have to for the time being, be contented with lording it over the plebs by destroying their lives through reactionary policy rather than reactionary barons and put up with the brickbats thrown by clergy.
The Tory dream of returning the United Kingdom to a feudal state of deference where the serfs know there place and tug their forelocks to their supposed betters is still a way-a-way  at the moment, but if the Tory filth are handed a majority at the next election, it will be getting nearer.

Scottish Independence.

The 'Yes'  campaign are losing the plot. At the moment they are coming across like an adolescent going off to university, who wants his independence but still wants to bring his washing home every other weekend for his mother to do. Either Scotland goes fully independent or they stay within the Union. They cannot have their cake and eat it.
If they want to maintain a fiscal union with the United Kingdom then the British people must have a say. We cannot have it imposed on us just because that suits Alec Salmond's plans. And a fiscal union means part independence not full.

The 'yes' campaigners need to grow up.

Ecclestone. 'the turd'.

Formula One owner,Bernie Ecclestone, has said that Vladimir Putin's views on homosexuality are right and that 90% agree with him. Ecclestone is an unpleasant, bigoted, opportunistic, short arsed little turd who will be dead soon. 90% agree with me. So just ignore him.

A Military Disgrace.

In Denmark, live pigs are hung from wooden frames and are shot and stabbed, squealing in agony and pain, so British Army medical surgeons can 'train' on them. This practise is banned by 23 NATO allies. Probably because they realise that it is a barbaric subhuman practise that could only be condoned by barbaric and subhuman scum. Pigs are sensitive and intelligent animals, much more intelligent than a toddler, and to subject them to this grotesque evil is a national disgrace.

The Tory Default Position: Accept No Responsibility and Blame Others.

I am waiting for the tipping point in the current flooding fiasco, ( 30 COBRA meetings? really?), when the Tory's try to blame the Labour leader, Ed Miliband, along with the trade union Unite, for the flooding of the Somerset Levels. At the moment, the closest they can get to blaming Labour is by blaming the head of the Environment Agency, Chris Smith, who just happens to be an ex- Labour Member of Parliament.
There have been several examples of political grandstanding by Tory MP's. The first being the Tory MP for the area, Ian Liddell-Granger, who has called Chris Smith an idiot and has said that if he could, he would jam Smith's head down a toilet and flush it, whilst attempting to portray Prime Minister Cameron as some type of latter day Moses, as if his visit to the levels had turned back the tide like the parting of the Red Sea.
The second piece of vomit inducing grandstanding has been perpetrated by Eric Pickles, the obnoxious Communities Minister. Now those who know Pickles will understand the comment made by a critic of Pickles grotesque attempt at political grandstanding. The critic suggested that Pickles would be better of shutting up and deploying himself as a sandbag. For those who are unaware of Pickles, I can only enlighten you by saying if Cameron is a latter day Moses, then Pickles could be best described as a latter day Jabba The Hut. He his bloody fat. I mean fat, you know, really really fat.

The truth is that last summer The Environment Agency wrote, on behalf of the residents of the Somerset Levels, to the Prime Minister, asking for extra money to dredge the rivers in the area because of the fear of what might happen. The outcome was that the plea for extra funding was denied by Downing Street and the rest is history. Add into the mix, cuts in government funding for the Environment Agency and staff redundancy's, and you have a potent brew just waiting to boil over.

 So who is to blame? Answer: The Prime Minister, David Cameron.

Now he has 'heroically' pledged extra money for the area, but it is to late, the horse has bolted

What we have learnt from recent events is that their is no personal tragedy  that the Tory's are not prepared to try and grab in order to attempt to make political capital out of and they will not allow such irrelevant little things such as facts and the truth to get in the way.

An interesting aside is the reaction to the flooding that has now occurred around Windsor in the South East. An area that could be called a Tory heartland. Within ONE DAY! YES, THAT'S RIGHT. ONE DAY! The Army and The Navy were called in to help residents and fill sandbags.

So that's.
South East = 1 day before help is called in.

Ex-Wildlife Minister Benyon

Those of you who are regular readers of this blog may have noticed I have not been the biggest supporter of ex-Environment Minister Richard Benyon. However, for the purposes of fairness, I must say, out of all the howling and screeching voices that have surrounded the flooding fiasco, his has been one of the most sane and measured. Particularly his criticism of the knee-jerking, reactionary moron Liddell- Grainger. So well done Mr Benyon, perhaps getting the sack has allowed you to gain a better perspective on life, although I expect you still spend your spare time slaughtering birds for fun.

Marius The Giraffe.

One Direction's ( what?) Harry Styles ( who?) has 'claimed' they are bigger than the Beatles. I checked out Mr Styles on the Interweb and I think when he says bigger, he actually means fatter.

Stinking Hypocrisy!

Prince Charles and Prince William have 'come together as father and son' to make an appeal to stop the slaughter of wildlife. This just days after Prince William and his protected raptor (allegedly ?) killing brother Harry have enjoyed themselves slaughtering some Spanish wildlife.
It appears that although they enjoy killing sentient animals 'for a bit of fun' themselves, they get a bit touchy when others do it for money.

Step One Towards Fascism Completed.

The aim of all fascist states, in order to maintain control of the population, is to suppress or eliminate dissent. This will involve the removal of all intellectuals, the closing down of debate, and the suppressing or closing down of all NGO’s (non-government organisations) such as charities, campaign groups, unions and church organisations. This is the tactic used by all fascist dictatorships and autocracies and is currently being practised in states such as Bahrain, Russia and several states in the Caucasus and the middle east and was used ruthlessly by South American dictatorships such as Argentina, Chile and Paraguay and European dictatorships such as Spain and Portugal. Today the government of Great Britain and Northern Ireland can claim to be a fully paid up member of that odious and loathsome group.

On 28/1/2014 politicians voted through The Gagging Bill ( Transparency of Lobbying, Non- party Campaigning and Trade Union Administration Act 2014).This will mean that all NGO’s will have their campaign spending restricted, in the year prior to an election, on any campaigns that could be considered as political. In other words, any dissent, or any campaigns directed at government policy will be shut down if it is ‘considered as possibly affecting an election’ and the alleged perpetrators will be referred by the Electoral Commission to the police, possibly to face criminal sanctions that may involve imprisonment. It is a blatant attempt to silence groups as diverse as Oxfarm, Macmillan Cancer, The Countryside Alliance, Friends of the Earth, The Trussell Trust, pro hunting groups, anti abortion groups, anti hunting groups, Worldwide Fund for Nature, 36Degrees or campaigning church groups.

The bill will not affect 80% of all lobbying companies, who will still be allowed to continue to go about their shady business of perverting democracy, whilst working in the interests of industries such as Alcohol and Tobacco, Petrochemical, Pharmaceuticals and arms suppliers and the bill will still allow wealthy individuals to donate large amounts of money to parties with the purpose of influencing government policy in their favour.

 Andrew Lansley, the Tory MP responsible for pushing this bill through parliament, when confronted with objections, suggested that the objectors should either form a political party or join one. This demonstrated a level of detachment from real life and a level idiocy that, if you didn’t know he was a Tory, you would find frightening.

When the proponents of this bill are asked to provide evidence or examples of when an NGO has influenced or tried to influence the outcome of an election in Britain, the only examples given are all USA based, such as the NRA (National Rifle Association). The only example that apparently occurred in Britain was when an anti abortion group tried to affect the result of a marginal seat IN 1992!!!

If it wasn’t for campaigning groups we would never have seen changes to child labour laws, votes for women, universal suffrage, gay rights, free universal education, equal pay, employment rights and civil rights, to mention just a few single interest apolitical issues that were all, initially, disregarded by politicians until the protests became too politically toxic to ignore.

The Tory-led coalition may dress this bill up as an attempt to stop big money influencing the outcome of elections, but its real purpose is to stop awareness being raised of damaging government policy, i.e. church criticism of welfare reforms and the proliferation of food banks, the stifling of freedom of speech and restricting dissent and criticism, an example being student union criticism of Nick Clegg’s craven reversal of his stance on tuition fees, as well as a veiled attack on trade unions. The Trades Union Congress may be unable to hold their annual  conference in the year leading up to an election because the cost may  breach the spending limits allowed by this bill, exposing trade union leaders to the possibility of arrest and imprisonment. Suddenly the true motive of this bill becomes crystal clear, a brazen attempt to eradicate political enemies, suppress dissent and take the first step in establishing a fascist-lite state that will favour the rich and oppress the poor.

The saddest aspect of this charade is the keenness of the Liberal Democrats, the junior partner within the coalition, to push this bill through. You would expect a right wing party, such as the Tory’s, to be eager to install legislation that would suppress free speech and quash dissent; it is in the DNA of every right winger. Unfortunately, the Liberal Democrats, supposedly a left of centre party, realising that at the next General Election they are probably going to be eviscerated as a political party, are desperate to shut down any criticism of their role as the Tory enablers during their five year governmental butchery of the poor and vulnerable, so will despairingly grab any passing wreckage, no matter how anti-democratic it is, if they think it will save them from sinking without a trace in 2015.

A message to the LibDems: IT WONT!!!!

Profit First, Customers Last?

For several weeks, customers of the utilities company Thames Water have been unable to flush their toilets. This has meant children having to use carrier bags and adults having to wait until they get to work before they can go to the toilet. The criticism is not the time it has taken to rectify the fault, it may be a complex problem. The criticism is the lack of effort, made by Thames Water, to alleviate the problems of their customers. How difficult would it be for Thames Water to provide Portaloo’s for each household until the problem is resolved? Why has no Thames Water ‘exec’ come up with this blindingly obvious solution? The only stumbling block can be cost; it cannot be the availability of Portaloo’s, after all there are not many music festivals being held in the dead of winter, so there cannot be a shortage.

Perhaps Thames Water puts the payment of shareholder dividends or their own yearly executive bonuses or the effect the hiring of portable toilets would have on the bottom line over the needs of their customers.

It looks like a modern day example of, ‘profit first, customer last.’

Tax Shock!

Rich complain about oppositions promise to reinstate 50p tax band for the wealthiest. “Duh, who’d ‘ave thunk it.”

Incompetence, Meetings, More Incompetence and More Meetings.

As the government convene yet another COBRA ( Cabinet Office Briefing Room A) meeting to discuss the flooding of the Somerset Levels, you get the feeling that the residents of the levels biggest problem is that they do not live on the Henley-on-Thames Levels or the Chipping Norton Levels, because if they did, the government would have rushed in the Army, the Navy, the Air force, Christian Aid, Shelter box and probably a United Nations Defence Force before the first raindrop had hit the ground. It’s a shame the government has either taken the view that Somerset is broadly Tory voting, so government incompetence will not threaten their voter base or maybe they consider the South West to be a god forsaken place full of uncivilised heathens that is not in or anywhere near London, therefore is unimportant.

What is undeniable is that the last six weeks has seen a catastrophic level of incompetence demonstrated by an out of touch government. The primary incompetent has been Environment Minister Paterson, a man who turned up to view the floods without suitable footwear and then refused to speak to the victims of the flooding. The man is a climate denying, badger slaughtering. idiotic f£**w*t.

However I have a plan that will prevent further flooding. Instead of wasting £70 billion on a train set (HS2) ,that will get you into Birmingham 20 minutes early (sounds more like a punishment than a benefit?), why not use the money to build a canal from Bristol to Taunton and then onto Exeter, perhaps connecting up with the existing canal systems in the region. It can be called The West Country Waterway, promoted as a tourist attraction, and the levels could be designated an Area of Outstanding Beauty and Protected Wildlife Park.

 As well as helping to contain the high water levels and surges it would provide an economic boost to the region in the form of jobs and opportunities. Just an idea.

You Can’t Argue With The Facts.

The Public Accounts Committee has said, that ‘the old boiler’ in Buckingham Palace is over 60 years old now, has served it’s purpose, and should be replaced.

You can’t argue with that.
