Nasty Britons,Nasty Tory's, Stupid Kids.

It is a sad truth that societies generally turn into a mirror image of the government that governs them. This was evident in the bigoted and venal governments of 1930’s Germany, Italy and Spain, the religion driven ideological governments of Ireland, where unmarried mothers were treated as wicked sinners and cast into Magdalene laundry’s, where nuns, supposedly followers of a compassionate religion, acted as the devils emissaries, or the Reagan/Thatcher governments of the eighties with their mantra of ‘greed is good’, are just a few examples.

The current British government see themselves as the inheritors of the Thatcher legacy and consider it their purpose to finish the job that Thatcher started. This involves privatising the National Health Service to the advantage of their public school chums, destroying union and legal representation so that only the wealthy has access to justice, dismantling the Welfare State and selling off the BBC  to their News International paymasters, whilst all the time dressing up their ideologically driven policies as austerity bu**sh**.

On the road to this social Armageddon, they are imbuing society with a selfish ‘looking after no1‘attitude that has involved making poverty a crime, attempts to divide and rule by turning the willing middle and upper classes against the disabled, the vulnerable and the supposedly undeserving poor, whilst allowing a small wealthy elite to get richer on the backs of the crimes the Tory’s are currently committing.

These current Tory’s, who see themselves as the ‘Children of Thatcher’, have an advantage that Thatcher herself could never benefit from. In the 80’s, Thatcher came up against a knowledgeable and politically engaged youth, who were prepared to challenge her ideologue, whereas today we have an indulged, shallow and vacuous youth who believe that success, fame and celebrity will fall at their feet without them having to put any effort in, and would have no difficulty naming the Xfactor winner but would struggle with the name of the current Prime Minister, let alone the Leader of the Opposition. This is mainly due to parents wanting to be their offspring’s ‘best friends’ rather than their parents. The parents live in constant fear and insecurity that their children may not ‘love’ them, so try to be 'best mates' with them rather than mothers and fathers. Add into this toxic brew of apathy, the watering down of employment rights and legal representation, the neutering of union power, the unavailability of ‘proper’ jobs, the removal of any welfare safety net, and the never ending and self serving perpetuation of lies and right wing propaganda printed and spoken by the right wing media, and it is not difficult to foresee a society that will quickly collapse in on its self as neighbourhood turns against neighbourhood and class battles class, while the political and wealthy elite watch on from afar in their ivory clad metropolitan bubbles, country estates and castles.  

The saddest aspect of this process is to witness how quickly people take up the cudgels and how gladly they enjoy beating the weak with them. It is not difficult to visualise these sanctimonious dupes, happy to play the role of fascist foot soldiers, wrapped up in their cloaks of hate and vitriol, lining the streets of some German town in the 1930’s and gleefully spitting and kicking at the lines of Jews, as they are marched towards the railway sidings and the cattle trucks that await, before swooping down, like vultures at a kill, on their abandoned businesses, homes and belongings.

Britain, once seen across the world as a nation of fairness and inclusivity, is now seen as a small island on the edge of Europe, infested with bitter, twisted, narrow minded, foreigner hating, and greedy natives who joyfully consign poor children into poverty, display levels of frightening ignorance, bigotry and jealously when someone, i.e. teachers, fire-fighters, decide to exercise their human rights by withdrawing their labour, conveniently accuse people who have to fall back on food banks as just lazy chancer’s and hypocritically call for welfare cuts while cashing their own child benefit cheque.

This is the society the Tory’s have built. A nasty self centred society, where its inhabitants are forever worried about the neighbours having a better car, the type of mobile they have, whether somebody who is claiming Jobseekers allowance or disability living allowance is frittering away their benefits on such fripperies as potatoes or shoes, when everybody knows that if you are claiming welfare you should have to go barefoot and deny yourself carbohydrates, or whether Guava or little Rembrandt are part of the popular kids, the kids who insist on talking in Chavspeak or a faux Jamaican patois, even though they were born and brought up in Surrey and who spend their lunch breaks picking on the kid who doesn’t have the latest Grand Theft Auto or the pretty girl who happens to be very bright as well as being serious about her studies. A crime considered unconscionable and that cannot be tolerated by competitive parents or their designer label driven offspring.  I’m pretty certain that if most parents were giving the choice of their children being plain but intelligent or popular but thick, they would choose the latter.

 Put simply, we are becoming a nation of frightened, hypocritical, selfish, self centred and small-minded adults who are enabling the hate driven policies of an elite and uncaring government and who know the price of everything but the value of nothing. I suppose we had better hope Putin curtails his expansionist policies in the Baltic, because I do not see this current generation having the balls or the guts to storm the beaches of the Crimea, for the purposes of freedom and democracy, in the way our forebears stormed the beaches of Normandy.

And imagine, they did it without WiFi, Twitter or bloody Snapchat. I mean, I’m not being funny but..... No Way! Way! Whatever! Shut up! No you shut up! I hate you! You is dope. You is howling dred fudge, I is swag vexed, fo sho man,rago.

Tory Rent Boy Shock.

I’m not sure what the furore is about. My only surprise is that the headlines said “Tory caught with rent boy”, when it should have said. “Another!  Tory caught with rent boy”.

The Archers, an Explanation for international visitors.

The Archers is a tale of everyday country folk, set in the fictional village of Ambridge, where all the upper and middle class characters work really hard and are always tired and the rural working class are portrayed as lazy chancer’s who are either incredibly thick, on the make, criminals, inverted snobs or all four.

Most poorly researched and plotted episodes are spent explaining, in a patronising manner, to the stupid townies listeners, how being a farmer involves loads of bureaucracy, hours of tiring work, how if it wasn't for the hardworking and constantly tired farmers the country would collapse, how all townies owe farmers a living, how townies haven’t a clue about how tiring it is being a farmer and how much hard work is involved.

Basically it is a party political broadcast on behalf of NFU (The National Farmers Union). Certain things are banned, such as anybody from out of town getting a job in Ambridge, (only established characters are successful when applying for a job), any discussion about the farming subsidies paid to farmers out of the taxes of the despised townies and any hint of reality.

Oh, did I mention how hard working and tiring farming is. Yeah, it is, it really is. It’s really tiring.

An economical illiterate, who socialised with a dominatrix, decides, as a political stunt, to give pensioners the keys to the sweet shop when it would have been far more sensible to reform the annuities market. This policy will lead to tears and a new term entering the lexicon, 'Poverty Pensioners'.

The tragic suicide of a women in her forties is treated by the media with nothing but misogyny and contempt because she had the temerity to date a Rolling Stone. The media backed up there articles by making references that dated back over forty years i.e Yoko Ono, Linda McCartney, therefore obviously proving that L'Wren Scott 'had it coming'.

BBC: Left-Wing Bias! Don't Make Me laugh.

Recently I read yet another article, generated from the fevered mind of a Tory, claiming that the BBC had a left wing bias. This is just another example of, not only, the deep set paranoia experienced by your average right winger but also yet another step in the Tories efforts to brow beat and control the BBC's output.
The truth is, the BBC couldn't be anymore pro-establishment and pro-right wing if it painted a mural of Margaret Thatcher and the Queen upon Broadcasting House. The BBC is so threatened by the Tory party that it kow-tow's to every whining bleat or criticism that emanates from Tory Central Office.
The BBC coverage of Tory policy towards the NHS is nothing short of propaganda, the Nazi's would have been proud off. Rarely is a dissenting voice allowed any airtime at at all and the Beebs coverage of anything that involves the Monarchy or any establishment figure is so obsequious and partial that it's difficult to control the dry retching that it induces.
A classic example of right wing bias comes in the form of Radio 4's flagship news programme, The Today Programme. One of its main presenters is John Humphrys. Here is a man who recently complained about a 'liberal bias' within the BBC yet presented a programme about benefit claimants, that because it was so inaccurate and perpetrated so many right wing myths about benefits, I can only presume it was scripted by the Daily Mail. It was so inaccurate and such a shoddy piece of lazy journalism that Humphrys was reprimanded by the BBC Trust. Add into the mix the flagrant bias The Today programme shows towards Tory politicians, of which Humphrys is the arch practitioner, and the mauling it gives to left wing politicians and union leaders and you have a text book example of a broadcaster that is obviously so fearful of the government that it is slowly turning into the government state broadcaster and is increasingly happy to propagate any piece of propaganda the government passes down.
This attitude is not exclusive to Radio 4 in particular. Sometimes listening to Radio 5 is like listening to Radio Tory. The deference shown to Tory politicians or anyone of a right wing persuasion is truly vomit inducing, yet when a left wing politician or anybody of that persuasion is interviewed, the verbal knuckledusters and clubs are brought out and the person concerned is given the treatment. One particular proponent of this is the presenter of the Drivetime show, Peter Allan, who you get the distinct feeling takes all his questions straight from a crib sheet he picked up from Tory Central Office before he started his shift.
There are many issues where the BBC shows no impartiality whatsoever. Examples being, its coverage of Israel. Palestine rarely gets sympathetic coverage. The privatisation of the NHS. It is obvious whose camp the BBC is in on that subject, and the same can be said for the governments austerity measures and the effect it is having on the poor, and the inequality it is creating. During the coverage of the banking coverage there was a never ending line of bankers and hedge fund managers being giving the opportunity to defend themselves and the city, yet The Occupy Movement was giving short shrift by the corporation.
Whenever anyone of a left wing hue is employed or even interviewed by the BBC, the Tories fly into a rage of screaming apoplexy, howling left wing bias, yet they conveniently forget the slew of right wingers that have and do work for the BBC. People such as Political Editor and former Leader of the Young Conservatives, Nick Robinson. Chairman of the BBC Trust and former Tory cabinet minister Chris Patten. Guta Hari, former political reporter and now advisor to Boris Johnson. Kamal Ahmed, now the BBC's Business Editor but when he was a journalist with the right wing Telegraph he was criticised for 'spinning government propaganda'. The list goes on.
This myth that the BBC is a left wing midden, riddled with socialists, is just a ploy used by the right wing to gain control and police an already cowed BBC to their advantage, so that it will continue to champion free market economics, big business, government policy, the monarchy and western foreign policy, while keeping the masses ignorant of the truth by denying any dissenting voices any airtime and when they are thrown some crumbs, the BBC will undermine, ridicule and treat them with scorn.

The BBC IS the establishment. It always has been.

Floods and Hard Facts.

The damaged and flooded homes on the Somerset Levels are a sad sight indeed, but the hard cold facts are that they will flood again and again. The villages of Moorland and Fordgate, that suffered severe flooding, are in reality, situated on a sea bed. The claims, made by the villagers, that they were sacrificed in favour of local towns Bridgewater and Taunton may be correct. It may also have been the correct decision to protect those towns. Better forty homes are flooded than four hundred or four thousand.
Reading through the 'wish list', compiled by the locals to avoid further flooding, it seemed the only thing missing was a request for a pony, but then I realised that most of them already had one. And that is another cold hard fact they must face up to. They live in a low density area and live a lifestyle envied by many, but they cannot expect the taxpayer to subsidise their lifestyle choice when so many others are experiencing extreme deprivations due to the austerity measures being imposed by this current government.
It must be accepted, that if we 'supposedly' have no money for schools, hospitals, the poor or the disabled then we cannot afford to waste taxpayers money by subsidising the idyllic and bucolic lifestyle of a very small minority.The only practicable course to take is that of a managed withdrawal because nature will eventually reclaim the levels. Sentiment alone will not hold back the sea.

Canned Hunting.

In South Africa they carry out the incredibly unpleasant pastime of Canned Hunting. This involves lions, and other game that have been reared in cages, being let out in fenced enclosures to be shot by gutless spineless cowards, normally men, but not exclusively, from the back of trucks or other places of safety. These so-called 'hunters' are in no danger whatsoever from the lion, which normally wanders listlessly around, bemused at being freed for a few minutes, before these gutless scumbags and sorry excuses for men blast  away at it and then congratulate each other for being so 'brave'. Some animals are shot with crossbow's.
Obviously the rifles and crossbows are an extension of the incredibly small penis's these retards are in possession of and killing animals from the safety of a truck is replacement therapy for their sexual inadequacies and latent, 'probably' unfulfilled sexual yearnings, they experience towards their mothers. What a bunch of sad fuc*s!

Man's Inhumanity To Man

What follows is a story of unimaginable horror.

On the 19th September 1941 the German army, in the the form of SS Einzatzguppen soldiers, marched into the Ukrainian city of Kiev. They were welcomed as an army of liberation. For many Ukrainian nationalists this was true. For Jews, gypsies, psychiatric patients, prisoners of war and thousands of civilians it was not.
Over the next week several explosions occurred. The bombs were thought to have been planted by Russian NKVD agents, who had remained behind, after the soviet army had fled the city in the wake of the German advance.The German High Command decided that reprisals would be taken. On the 28th September a notice was posted throughout the town.

 All Jews living in the city of Kiev and its vicinity are to report by 8 o'clock on the morning of Monday, September 29th, 1941, at the corner of Melnikovsky and Dokhturov Streets (near the cemetery). They are to take with them documents, money, valuables, as well as warm clothes, underwear, etc. Any Jew not carrying out this instruction and who is found elsewhere will be shot. Any civilian entering flats evacuated by Jews and stealing property will be shot.

On the morning of the 29th, thousands assembled with their belongings. Most thought they were going to be put aboard a train and deported. They waited for hours as they shuffled forward. Mothers tried to comfort crying children and swaddled babies as they waited.
As they reached the gates of the cemetery they were told to leave their belongings, before being marched on. Up ahead could be heard the sound of machine gun fire.When they reached the head of the line they were counted out, by the German soldiers, in groups of ten, and pushed and marched in-between a column of more soldiers.Many became aware of what was happening, so attempted escape, but were met by brutal blows from sticks, whips, knuckledusters, clubs and batons, wielded by the soldiers, who it was said laughed and joked as if it was a game.
As the men, women and children were pushed through the corridor of soldiers more brutal blows were reined down upon them. Anybody who hesitated were sadistically beaten. Crying, frightened children were kicked and beaten. Babies were ripped from the arms of their screaming mothers, thrown to the ground and kicked and beaten to death.
When they eventually exited the column they were ordered to undress. Anybody who hesitated had their clothes ripped off them or they would be summarily executed.. They were then marched across a grassed area, in groups of ten, to the edge of a ravine. The ravine was known as Babi Yar.
They were made to stand at the ravines edge. A survivor of the massacre said that he remembers looking down on a mass of writhing bloodied bodies below.
Then they were machine gunned or shot with rifles or revolvers. They fell or were kicked into the ravine below.
On the 29th and 30th September 1941, Einsatzgruppen reports record that 33,771 men, women and children were murdered at Babi Yar, of which the majority were Jewish. Many were not fatally shot and either suffocated or were finished off by German soldiers
But the killing did not stop there. Next the gypsies were rounded up, followed by the Pavlov Psychiatric Hospital being emptied of patients, who were subsequently gassed in mobile units and then dumped into the ravine.Thousands of civilians became the next victims.Mass shootings, in retaliation for minor misdemeanor's, were undertaken. Nazi collaborators, many from the local police force, and Ukrainian nationalists carried out summary executions, often raping women before killing them.

During the Nazi occupation of Kiev over 100,000 men, women and children were murdered and buried in mass graves.
(Included in this number are Jews that were murdered by Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN), and other Nazi collaborators during the 1941 Kiev pogroms).

Although I believe I have not infringed copywrite by reproducing these photographs (if I have I will happily remove them immediately), I felt it was important to include them as they are a stark representation of the evil that men do, and demonstrates mankind's base inhumanity. These atrocities may have been committed over 70 yrs ago, but in light of events currently occurring in eastern Europe, it is easy to appreciate that to cross over into evil is a very small step indeed.

Some say that Babi Yar was a test and that if world leaders did not react seriously to this atrocity Adolf Hitler would be emboldened.

Who Caused The Floods? Welfare Claimants, That's Who.

As the flood waters begin to recede, so the blame game will commence.The Tory's will abdicate all responsibility for the floods and try and pin it on the Environment Agency. Although they will brag about the homes that have been protected by flood defences that have been built and the investment involved.They will fail to mention, of course, that homes were saved from flooding because of investment made and defence's that were built by the previous labour government, not this current government. Only in five years time will we know whether the Tory bragging about their alleged increase in investment will be nothing but hot air and wet carpets. I think I already know the answer.
The problem of preventing flooding in low lying areas is a much more intricate and awkward problem to solve. It will not be solved. It will not be solved or even alleviated, because to do so would require a minority section of society to act in a manner that is beneficial to the nation and detrimental to themselves and that would be counter intuitive to any way this particular group have ever acted before. It would also involve Tory's implementing policies that would adversely effect this very small section of society. Unfortunately, the Tory's involved in implementing that policy are also part of this small section of society, so it would be a case of defecating in your own nest. The group involved? Well as I have intimated in the heading of this piece, they are welfare claimants, but not the demonised and stygmatised group so often pilloried in the right wing press. No, this particular group of welfare claimants are lorded over, indulged and idolised and never have to face the same level of abuse experienced by the likes of the residents of James Turner Street off the recent programme 'Benefits Street'. This group of benefit claimants contain some individuals who happily play the system and claim upwards of 10x the amount a single mother could claim. Who are these people who are in receipt of  upwards of £260,000 in benefits per year? Well reader, they are farmers and landowners. They are the owners of grouse moors and vast country estates. They are people such as The Queen, Prince Charles, The Duke of Westminster and several Tory MP's. They are members of a union ( National Farmers Union) that has a representative sitting in the cabinet and acting on their behalf. A claim no other union in this country could make.
While this government were imposing a benefits cap on the poor of this land, its representatives were in Brussels preventing the EU from implementing a cap on farming subsidies that would have capped the amount these extremely rich individuals could have claimed. It would have meant a saving of over £1bn for the British Taxpayer. The cap is discretionary. Surprise, surprise, this government has decided not to impose it.
So what has this to do with flooding you may ask? Well, one of the main reasons for flooding is water runoff from higher ground, that feeds the rivers and streams or floods directly onto lowlands . Farmers and landowners are expected, in order to be in receipt of subsidies, to complete a soil and land protection review. Farmers must protect their land from compaction and erosion and ensure fertility, defend water supplies and protect the ecology of land and rivers. Many farmers pay lip service to this requirement, they compact farmland with heavy machinery, leave fields fallow for most of the year, clear unproductive land and obliterate the local wildlife of land and rivers with the use of poisonous phosphates and neonicotinoids that destroy the bee population. Add to that the mass illegal slaughter of predators such as crows, magpies, raptors and mammals, that landowners and gamekeepers perpetrate with total impunity, using poisons such as carbofuran or shooting, the destruction of woodlands, wetlands, and forests on grouse moors, and you have a wildlife holocaust being perpetrated by an old boys club and being unwittingly paid for by the taxpayer. Checks are few and far between by the Rural Payment Agency and in actual fact, this government is attempting to reduce the number of inspection so that most farms would receive an inspection perhaps once every 60-80 years. Hence the reason many farmers play the system, pocket the subsidy and happily preside over the rape, erosion and destruction of landscape and wildlife, while laughing all the way to the bank.
One way of preventing flooding in low lying areas is to ensure the land on higher ground is forested and planted and wildlife corridors consisting of bogs, meadows and woodland are created around farmlands and rivers. This in turn will trap water and prevent it from emptying onto the land below as well as increasing the bio-diversity of our countryside. A bio-diversity that has been decimated by farming practices. Rivers should not be dredged because a dredged river becomes an express waterway that sends high levels of water cascading down onto lower ground.
But the creation of wild areas is not incentivised, it is decentivised by Regulation GAEC 12. This requires farmers and landowners, in order to receive their subsidy, to remove any 'unwanted vegetation'. To a layman, 'unwanted vegetation' means woodlands, bogs, and wild areas. So if a tree starts to grow, it gets cut down, if a bog starts to form, it is cut out, if an area of unused farmland becomes overgrown with vegetation, it is levelled. Yet it is these areas of natural habitat that will ease the pressures of water runoff lower down in places such as the Somerset Levels. In fact Regulation GAEC 12 is the one regulation that is aggressively policed by the Rural Payments Agency, yet it is a regulation that harms the countryside rather than benefits it.
So there you have it. Implementing practices that would alleviate the suffering of many people would prove detrimental to the bank balances of the rich and wealthy and with a government whose main objective is to politically and financially serve the interests of this small elite, the chances of any policy changes that benefit the wildlife and the 99% of the population that do not benefit from The Common Agricultural Policy are very slim indeed.

Halal Meat

The slaughter of animals for halal meat without stunning is disgusting. Why anybody would consider it acceptable to inflict on a sentient being such a brutal and barbaric death is uncivilised and inhuman. The people performing the slaughter and those who accept it disgust me. Before you leap in and accuse me of Islamaphobia or anti-semitism, I will make it clear that I do not care which religion encourages this practice. I couldn't care if it was the bloody Jedi religion. I would still consider the people who practice it and those that condone this abhorrent practice as disgusting, uncivilised,savage,barbaric scum.

I also include in that sub-human group,the people involved in employing unimaginable cruel and barbaric practices in snake slaughter houses and the grotesque, vacuous  fashionistas who condone the brutality by poncing about in their designer snakeskin shoes with their blood-soaked snakeskin handbags draped over their arms.

Reader, your help is needed. Within the next two years, a mammal, only indigenous to Britain, could become extinct. This is a unique mammal, as it was once warm blooded, but has now evolved into a cold blooded creature. It once roamed Britain from the windswept coasts of the south west to the cold and rain lashed highlands of the north-east. But now, large swathes of its once heavily populated habitat are empty. Environments, such as university campuses, NHS hospitals, food banks , disabled centre’s and areas suffering severe deprivation, where this mammal would frequently be seen grazing and making promises they were sure they would never have to keep, are now virtually free of sightings.

This species, that once lived on a diet of hummus and veggie burgers and could easily be spotted by its familiar plumage of beard (male and female), brown or mustard coloured corduroy trousers and loose knit cardigans, has now, in an attempt to survive, widened its diet to feasting on the poor, constantly breaking promises and dumping its once proudly held principles of fairness and opportunity for all, whilst now sporting a boy band haircut and an Armani suit. Sightings have diminished and are restricted to brief glimpses within the Westminster area of London, normally as it speeds past in a government limousine.

Can you help reader? Within two years, Rattus LibDemus could be no more. Although it does not have the charisma of the panda, or the majesty of the white rhino, even though its proclivities are unpleasant, with its penchant for supporting secret courts, its inclination to support the tory’s in their constant attacks on the poor, its appetite for privatising the NHS, it’s liking for tax cuts for the rich and starting a war in Syria, its failure to prevent Gove, the Education Minister, from returning education to the 1850’s, while simultaneously selling our schools to speculators and profiteers and lying about tuition fees, and it’s abject failure in preventing the tory’s from demonising the poor and committing their crimes against the underprivileged and vulnerable. If you can help save this once noble species.
