The Monster Raving UKIP Party: Racist, Misogynistic and Misanthropic.

The title to this piece sums up my feelings about the United Kingdom Independence Party. They are full of misogynistic little Englanders who hark back to a rose tinted version of the 1950's, where it was acceptable to displays signs saying 'no blacks, no Irish, no dogs'. A sign which could easily be mistaken for a UKIP campaign poster.

I am not sure who I find more detestable, the grotesques who are trying to portray themselves as politicians or the intellectual simpletons that blindly follow them, even though a simple question about any of UKIP's policies brings a dead-eyed vacant response that invariably ends with some vacuous mumbling about immigrants.

What I find risible is UKIP's attempt to portray itself as the party of the people.Nigel Farage, the current leader of UKIP, and so-called 'man of the people' stands in a pub, drinking a pint and smoking a fag and the simpletons fall about marvelling at, well someone drinking a pint while smoking a fag, as if he had just split the bloody atom or found a cure for cancer. They seem to conveniently ignore or are blindly unaware that UKIP is a party backed by big business and wealthy individuals, just like the mainstream  parties, and it is lead by a public schoolboy who worked in the city and who is a dyed in the wool, old school, Home Counties Tory. A member of the same corporate and establishment cronyism, UKIP is supposed to be railing against.

Some Ukip Donors. ( not exactly a list of butchers, bakers and candlestick makers).

  • Paul Sykes £1.4 million.
  • Christopher Mills, hedge fund manager. £50,000
  • Robin Birley, socialite. £50,000
  • Stuart Wheeler, spread betting owner. £514,000
  • Julian Blackwell, publisher. £175,000
  • Lord Niedpath. £54,000 on nine different occasions.
  • Viscount Cowdray. £35,000
  • Lady Yvonne Colin. £10,000
The majority of these donors were former supporters of the Tory party.

What is truly objectionable is the way the mainstream media has willingly fallen for the UKIP shtick, the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) being one of the main cheerleaders. You can understand why the right wing press would constantly champion UKIP. After all UKIP are just saying things the right wing press covertly agree with, but know that they would be unable to overtly support. Hence any story about UKIP's crazy anti-Europe rhetoric, or its never ending vileness about migrants or any misogynistic or homophobic bile it might spew, gets heavy coverage with a veneer of overt disapproval from the right wing tabloids. But covertly, they are complicit and gleefully agree with most of what has been spouted by whatever UKIP cockspawn yeehaa spouted it. What the media refuses to do is to seriously and robustly challenge UKIP on any of their policies. Some of which are incredibly objectionable and deeply misogynistic.

The policies are deeply misanthropic and demonstrate a level of hatred that even surpasses the Tory party in their vindictiveness and repulsiveness. But when you consider that UKIP is a turbo-Tory, Thatcherite party, which, if giving the opportunity, would gleefully carry on Thatcher's legacy of destroying society in favour of corporate Britain while making the rich richer and the poor much poorer, then the surprise that they are a party of hatemongers is minuscule.

Lets put aside the anti-Europe/immigrant rhetoric, we get it. UKIP hates foreigners and hates the European Union although this hatred doesn't stop their MEP's ( Member of the European Parliament) from leaping on the same gravy train, they constantly criticise, and fill their boots with massive expense claims. Farage himself was investigated for claiming £15,000 a year in office running costs when it came to light that he pays no rent on the property and according to a former manager of the office, bills and non-rental costs come to no more than £3,000 per annum. Another UKIP MEP, Trevor Coleman, admitted he went to Brussels to claim the  £200,000 in allowances and he had only taken part in half of the votes since 2009. Sounds familiar doesn't it?

Lets concentrate on domestic UKIP policy or what passes for it.
  • Scrapping Maternity pay.
  • Raising Income Tax for the poor.
  • Introducing a flat rate of tax for rich and poor.
  • Privatising the National Health Service.
  • Scrapping Inheritance Tax.
  • Repealing the smoking ban
  • Abolishing the Dept of Culture, Media and Sport.
  • Abolish laws to protect human rights.
  • Scrapping all holiday entitlement.
  • Scrapping all current laws that prevent racist, homophobic or misogynistic abuse. They claim it suppresses freedom of speech. ( further down in this piece I mention Farage complaining about left wing comics exercising their right to freedom of speech and making jokes at UKIP's expense. It would appear UKIP believe only a chosen few should be allowed to exercise this right. Hypocrisy?)
  • Making rape legal within marriage.
  • Abandoning all actions to fight climate change.
  • No house building on green belt land.
  • Making it legal to discriminate on the basis of gender.
  • Passing legislation that would allow a women who falls pregnant whilst in employment, to be dismissed.
The list is not comprehensive, but it is downright frighteningly backward and disgusting. Add to this, UKIP's alignment with far right parties within the European Union, some of which are a mixture of holocaust deniers, Nazi sympathisers and outright racists, and the constant stream of foul comments that spew from the mouths of UKIP MEP's, party donors and supporters, and you have a heady brew of borderline fascism dressed up in tweed jackets, brightly coloured waistcoats and crimson cords. A mixture of Rupert the Bear, Mr Toad and Mussolini, if Rupert Bear and Mr Toad  had enlisted in the Hitler Youth, but without the intellectual clarity.

The hype around the recent by-election victories is a classic example of the media enjoying the carnival but ignoring the facts. The two MP's, Mark Reckless and Douglas Carswell, are just Tory retreads as well as both being privileged ex-public schoolboys. They were sitting MP's who just changed party. The people who voted for them were not voting to change the government. Nor were they were deciding who should be Prime Minister or deciding or rejecting a manifesto. They did not vote for change at all, they voted for the status quo.

As mentioned earlier in this piece, the only lighthearted moment recently, in this seemingly never ending grotesque cavalcade of stupidity and evil, was when Farage claimed victim hood because he was annoyed that  left wing comics were ganging up on UKIP in panel shows. This was backed up by an obviously bitter and relatively unknown right wing comedian called Andrew Lawrence. For a white, middle class, public school educated, ex-city dealer from the home counties to claim victim hood, it really is beyond parody.

There is no doubt that our political system has become stale, establishment driven and our representatives rarely step out of their Westminster bubble. But if you want change, choosing UKIP is like deciding you are tired of coffee, so for a change you decide to have a cup of coffee but in a mug instead of a cup. There is no change.

UKIP are a party of foreigner hating, women hating, former extreme right wing Tory's who hark back to a time that never existed for the majority of Britons. A time of deference and forelock tugging, where everyone knew their place, especially women, and the globe was still two thirds pink.

That's not change.

Talking of Misogynists.
A recent Mail on-line story about the alleged murders by a banker in Hong Kong, filed by four male reporters.

Apparently it was his ex-girlfriends fault?

The good old Daily Heil. Nice how they've capitalised the word CHEATED! They never let you down. Do they.

Richard Benyon MP.The Ugly Face of Predatory Capitalism.

The MP (Member of Parliament) benyon, has been the subject of this blog on several other occasions, mainly in his role as Wildlife Minister. High points of his tenure were when he suggested that buzzard nests, containing chicks, should be blasted with shotguns, and his refusal to ban the poison Carbofuran, a poison that is used illegally by gamekeepers to kill protected raptors who prey on game birds.A recent case demonstrated the level of illegality that is perpetrated on some shooting estates, when an estate worker on a large shooting estate was found in possession of ten poisoned raptors. benyon owns a large shooting estate. His motives were often brazenly evident in many of his decisions as Wildlife Minister.

Fortunately, and I like to think this blog played a small part; benyon was sacked as Wildlife Minister. Probably because he was considered incompetent, but who knows, maybe it was because he is even posher and richer than the Prime Minister and the Chancellor of the Exchequer and maybe that grated on Cameron and Osborne.Unfortunately being dumped on the back benches has, it would appear, allowed benyon time to pick on new prey. He’s usual prey are game birds, which he enjoys, with his chinless hooray mates, blowing out of the sky for fun. This time his prey is human and it resurrects the dark days and worst aspects of a practice, known as ‘Rackmanism,’ employed in 1950’s London, involving poor people being constructively evicted from their homes. Thus, benyon is, in my opinion, a disgusting and vile piece of humanity.

benyon is the wealthiest MP in parliament, but he didn’t earn most of his wealth, he inherited it from his family. It is predominately unearned wealth. He is one of those entitled individuals, who, barring a brief period in the army, has never had a proper job, has never had to sweat to create a living and is totally detached from the lives of millions, yet still arrogantly think they are entitled to rule over us without the slightest understanding about our lives.

As previously stated, benyon inherited a massive country estate which is run by a trust set up by his family. benyon is one of those MP’s who rails against the ‘something for nothing’ culture within Britain, which is ironic coming from someone who is rich through unearned wealth. It is also ironic because benyon is the recipient, through his trust, of £2 million in agricultural subsidies, from the European Union, as well as £650,000 through Housing benefit. It appears benyon is also hypocrite.

But benyon’s hypocrisies around himself being in receipt of benefits while demonising others also in receipt of benefits, albeit on a much smaller scale than benyon, pale into insignificance when considering benyon’s latest activities.

In London there is a housing estate known as the New Era estate. It was built by a charitable trust in the 1930’s. It is one of a few estates still remaining where working class and low paid Londoners have access to affordable housing. benyon is involved, through a consortium, in purchasing this estate with the aim of selling or renting the properties at current London market rates. However, before this can be achieved, there is the stumbling block of the current sitting tenants.

The tenants are now facing increased rents or eviction, or in the words of benyon  ‘asked to seek alternative accommodation’. The rents have been increased by upwards of two hundred pounds a month, with the eventual aim of charging upwards of £2300 a month. The people that live in these properties are not wealthy. They are key workers in the National Health Service, public sector employees, low paid workers and the retired. The rents being ask are way beyond them. Some are facing the possibility of being homeless or having to move, with their children, into hostels, or being offered alternative accommodation hundreds of miles away in cities such as Birmingham and Liverpool, leading to the breakup of families, extended family support systems and the fracturing of lives. These are supposedly the ‘hardworking families’ this government professes to support, but this particularly iniquitous and disgusting example demonstrates how duplicitous that attitude is.

I could have used some very abusive terms to describe what I think of benyon and his ilk and I would have been justified because it would be a true and honest reflection of my anger at the way the wealthy use and abuse people for their own personal self enrichment and, specifically, my rage and fury at benyon's grotesque antics. It is an anger directed at how the favoured few consider poor people to be nothing more than commodities that can be stripped of their dignity before being tossed into the gutter as collateral damage. The people living on the New Era estate are having their lives destroyed and their families broken up because of an avaricious greed gleefully encouraged by this Tory government, and being executed by benyon and his sort. It is unacceptable.

It is unsurprising that the coalition government refuses to introduce rent controls for key workers when you discover that several Tory MP’s are also landlords.

People like benyon are a blight on a civilised, humane society. They popularise the expedient attitude that being poor is a deserving punishment, conveniently forgetting that their own unearned wealth and good fortune was handed to them on a silver platter, not in a wage packet earned through hard work and endeavour. They promote the lie, actively supported by quisling journalists, that the poor are poor because they are lazy and indolent and the wealthy are wealthy because they are hard working, conveniently omitting the inconvenient truth that wealth begets wealth and that luckily for many of today's wealthy, daddy was very rich.

They are an affront to social justice and illustrate how ludicrous the claim is that we live in a meritocracy where working hard leads to wealth. Nurses work hard, street cleaners work hard, refuse collectors work hard, care workers work hard, many people work hard, yet are in receipt of pauper wages. They are not wealthy. To survive, many have to depend on tax credits, because wealthy bosses pay poverty wages that the tax payer has to subsidise. The rich get richer while the poor get poorer. That is this governments mission statement.

benyon's actions are emblematic of everything that is rotten and putrid within British society. A society where the poor and vulnerable are treated no better than farmyard animals, and where greed is king. Where the disabled are abused and where guide dogs are attacked. A society where a convicted rapist is treated like a returning king by football fans. A society where bankers and politicians steal, but receive no sanction, other than a few sacrificial lambs being hung out to dry in an attempt to conceal the crimes of the majority. Or where a selfish, self indulgent mother refuses to move her buggy from the space allocated to wheelchairs on a bus, forcing the wheelchair user to wait for the next bus. A society where the establishment works for the establishment, and its wealthy cohorts, and will step on anybody or anything that gets in its way. A celebrity obsessed society where the abuse of animals is considered an acceptable form of entertainment on a television programme, presented by two grinning, gurning, Geordie goons, while the gormless watch the inane. A society where families can be tossed out of their homes, onto the street, and this government not only fails to act, but actively encourages the outrage.

Benyon is one of the architects of this society. His treatment of the families living on the New Era Estate in Hoxton epitomises the evil hateful money grubbing tendencies of the Tories specifically, and the establishment elite in general. They do not give a F**k.

I do not think this was the society those who gave their lives on Flanders fields or on the beaches of Normandy or in the deserts of Libya or the jungles of South East Asia had in mind.

Hardly a land fit for heroes is it.
..................................................................................................................................................
Just to reinforce my assertion that benyon is uncaring and vile, I have listed below some details of his voting record as a Member of Parliament. A ‘job’ where he can claim back the cost of a light bulb while others in Britain have difficulty putting food on their children’s plates.

Voted very strongly against paying higher benefits over longer periods for those unable to work due to illness or disability
Voted strongly against spending public money to create guaranteed jobs for young people who have spent a long time unemployed
Voted strongly for reducing housing benefit for social tenants deemed to have excess bedrooms (which Labour describe as the "bedroom tax")
Voted very strongly against increasing the tax rate applied to income over £150,000
Voted strongly against an annual tax on the value of expensive homes (popularly known as a mansion tax)
Voted very strongly for raising England’s undergraduate tuition fee cap to £9,000 per year
Voted very strongly for university tuition fees
Voted strongly against a more proportional system for electing MPs
Voted moderately for greater restrictions on campaigning by third parties, such as charities, during elections
Voted strongly against transferring more powers to the Scottish Parliament
Voted moderately for requiring the mass retention of information about communications.
Voted strongly against slowing the rise in rail fares.
Voted very strongly for selling England’s state owned forests.
Voted moderately for restricting the scope of legal aid.
Voted moderately for culling badgers to tackle bovine tuberculosis.
Voted moderately against restrictions on fees charged to tenants by letting agents.
Voted moderately against a banker’s bonus tax.

Update: Since this article was published benyon has pulled out of the consortium involved in the purchase of the New Era Estate. However the American owned consortium are still going ahead. The tenants are still facing constructive eviction by having their rents raised to levels that are beyond their means.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.

Autumn can be a magical time of the year in Britain. It is the time when the season of mellow fruitfulness is drawing to a close and the pavements and pathways are covered in leaves of differing bronze hues, hiding the dog shit left there, so you don't notice it until you've stepped in it. It is the time of the harvest festival, when young children knock on the doors of the elderly and, in an effort to help them through the hard cold months of winter, they hand them a tin of lychee's and a tin of pineapple chunks, both with the best before dates suspiciously smudged and unreadable, bounty from the harvest festival collections at their school. It's a heartwarming and life enhancing period, as the year ages and slowly dies. It the time of year when we celebrate the ancient tradition (about 12 years ) of Halloween, by encouraging young children to approach strangers and ask for sweets and when youths knock on doors and demand money or goods with menaces. A time of year when we celebrate the survival of our parliament by burning an effigy of a catholic and then scare the bejesus out of every cat and dog in the land by setting off millions off fireworks.

It is also the time when we commemorate our dead. Those who fell so we can live a life free of dictators, in a society that cherishes freedom of speech and thought. Never is the phrase 'I do not agree with what you say but I will defend your right to say it'ever been more apt then when we celebrate the fallen on Armistice Day.

Unfortunately it is also the time of year when the fascists come creeping out from under their stones and start bandying around terms such as 'unpatriotic' and 'traitor' or 'disrespectful', when they spot a television presenter, newsreader, politician or anybody else, who should have the temerity not to wear a poppy in public.

The irony can not be lost surely, with people who seem to think they have the right to tell others what they should be thinking and what they should be wearing, especially when the item in question, the poppy, is worn to commemorate those that died fighting a regime that wished to impose that same intolerant and bigoted ideologue on our nation.

I will be blunt now, as I address these poppy fascists. Shut the f**k up with your fascist, bigoted whinging. We live in a free society where we can, within the law, freely say what we think, freely wear or not wear what we like and freely do what we want. Don't you get it.

They gave their lives so we could be free!........ MORONS!!!!!!!!.

Vanity?
There are many facts to be uncovered in the Virgin Galactic tragedy, but one fact cannot be denied. Richard Branson's obscene vanity project has led to the death of a father of two.

Child Abuse Enquiry.
It is not that the Tories are having difficulty finding a qualified candidate to chair the inquiry into historic child abuse centred around the Tory government of the 1980's. Their are many suitable candidates, Michael Mansfield, Helena Kennedy and Jim Gamble to name but a few. Their problem is they cannot get an accepted candidate approved who will do their bidding and who they can control. Their somewhat desperate tactics at the moment are centred around kicking the inquiry into the long grass until after the 2015 General Election. Hence the tactic of picking inappropriate people, who they know, because of the persons establishment connections, will not be considered as suitable. Expect them to name a suitable candidate a month before the election so as to give an impression of caring.

The Tories know that if the full facts of the abuses committed are allowed to be disclosed and the names of the high profile Tories and establishment figures that committed them and may still be committing them, become known, then the Tory party will be blown out of the water, Thatchers so-called legacy will be tainted and destroyed and the Tories will be unelectable for at least a generation.

The truth is out there.

Asylum Seekers.
The governments policy on asylum seekers in the Mediterranean is easily explained. They've decided to let innocent women, children and babies drown because they consider it far more important to give tax breaks to their wealthy friends and families, than save the lives of innocent children and babies.

Whiney b-list celeb?
' Celeb?' Griff Rhys-Jones, has said that if Labour win the next election and introduce a mansion tax, he will move abroad.
If you need a lift to the airport Mr Jones, just give me a call, I can be there in twenty minutes, and thanks for giving me a reason to vote Labour.

What the F>>>>>>>>!

The above photo of a naked Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, holding an empty red box and a large carrot, was unveiled on an 'away day' for Tory Members of Parliament.

I have nothing else to add.

A Definition.
United Kingdom Independence Party: Nazi's without the style.

Question.
A question for the right wing that is slightly rhetorical: If you believe in a free market, then surely you have to have free movement of labour. Or else it is not a free market. Am I right? Take that suckers!
