The United Kingdom Independence Party isn't racist and it is anti-establishment?

Yes it is! and no it isn't! Ha ha! See what I did there. I pulled the wool over your eyes. I pulled a fast one. Hee hee. I suckered you into reading my blog just by saying words that you might or might not agree with in an effort to pique your interest. Hee hee I’m so cleverJ. You Ukippers, you’re so easy to outfox.

If you are not a Ukipper then please ignore the first paragraph of this blog. In fact it might be an idea to ignore it all as I’m drunk as a skunk at the moment. Yeesh..hic... ossifer...hic.. I’m skunk as a drunk...hic. No I’m not. Yes you are. Oh no, one of my other personalities has kicked in. Fortunately it’s one of the sober ones so I’ll continue.

Actually the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) isn’t comprehensively racist. It’s more selective racist. In fact the party is more anti-immigrant than racist. Along as they’re over there, they’re alright. To be more specific, it really depends on skin pigment and ancestry with UKIP. You see, if you’re of Anglo Saxon descent, in UKIP’s eyes, you’re alright. The Ukippers will deny it but we all know it’s true. Your problem is if you happen to be Eastern European or Hispanic or black African or Asian (unless you are a citizen of an economic powerhouse like China) or Romany, Slavic or Eurasian. If that’s the case then you’re persona non gratis in UKIP’s eyes. Not because of who you are but because of where you come from. And that’s the problem with UKIP supporters. They discriminate, sometimes consciously, sometimes sub-consciously, and they discriminate on the basis of race. And that makes Ukippers racist. It’s as simple as that.

Racism is a negative, generalised and stereotypical portrayal of a race or tribe where that stereotype is used as a basis for discrimination. So if you say that you wouldn't be happy if a group of Romanians moved in next door to you, if you haven’t met the Romanians in question, you must be basing your opinion on a previously held negative stereotypical view that has no basis in fact. That’s racism. I understand that we all are racists to varying degrees. It is natural to fear strangers; it is a basic survival instinct that is innate in all humans and the majority of animals. The problem arises in how you decide to rationalise these instincts. In an earlier blog I described how, when I was a child, gypsy travellers would turn up and camp on the outskirts of the council estate I lived on and we would go and fight them. So, as I've previously stated, we all fear strangers and me fighting gypsy travellers was my irrational manifestation of that fear. The difference being between me and most UKIP supporters is that I was fourteen at the time and, according to recent research, the average UKIP voter is in their forties or older, so are old enough to know better.

Criticism of a particular person and their actions is perfectly acceptable as long as that criticism is based in fact. I myself, for example, am particularly critical of Chinese and Koreans for their brutal treatment of animals, cats and dogs included, and their predilection for eating cats and dogs. I find it disgusting and therefore I find the Chinese and Koreans who condone these horrible practices as disgusting. I’m not being general about a race, I am being specific about certain members of that race. I judge these people on their actions and I criticise a culture which considers this barbarism as acceptable. It disgusts me so I make my disgust public, but I am not being racist just because I make critical comments about the actions by people of another race, just like I’m not being racist when I condemn the French for the cruelties involved in the manufacture of fois gras, because I am criticising what they do and not who they are.

I am the child of an Irish immigrant father and an English mother. As a child I was racially abused. As a child I would be called a ‘mick’ or a ‘paddy’, a half breed or a half caste. They were all attempts to control me, persecute me or oppress me. None of my abusers really knew me other than I was of Irish descent. I was abused for who I was, not for my character or actions. I suppose you may say that explains the gypsy fighting. You see, even I can fall into the trap of racial profiling.

Now I expect any Ukippers reading this, currently have their fists balled up in a fit of rage and are puce of face. If that is the case then calm down. I have more respect for you Ukippers and your crazy anti-immigrant rhetoric and irrational fear of foreigners than I do for the Tory party, which is full of closet racists, sexists and homophobes. At least UKIP is open and honest about the fact that they dislike foreigners, working women or gays.

As I have previously stated, racism is based in the fear of the stranger rather than facts. The more multiculturalism increases within a community so the level of racism within that community diminishes as long as there is integration. Hence the reason UKIP fails to make any inroads into London, the most multi-cultural city in Britain but also the wealthiest. And there you have the root cause to the underlying problem. Immigrants are not the problem, politicians and the poverty they inflict through their policies are the problem, because they act in mendacious and self serving ways and are happy to facilitate and encourage the scapegoating of immigrants as the reason when in fact it’s because it’s politicians, all politicians, including UKIP, who are the problem because a) they are not very good at their job, and b) more interested in serving the affairs of the ruling elite (aka, The Establishment, The Monarchy and The Corporations). UKIP converts are just expendable foot soldiers in this dirty war.

However, I do have some questions for UKIP voters. I think we can all agree now that most Ukippers are either consciously or sub-consciously racist and I do not condemn them, I just consider that their reasons are illogical. I am more concerned with why UKIP voters would support a party that appears to lack any policies whatsoever other than ones built around exiting Europe and stopping immigration from certain countries. The policies they do have are either self serving, cruel and inhumane or cretinous.

After the questions I will demonstrate why UKIP is not anti-establishment.

The questions will take a rhetorical form (that’s a question where the answer is implied within the question). Now I've provided, what some may believe to be a somewhat patronising definition of rhetorical, only because recent research has shown that the average UKIP voter is likely to be white, older and less educated, so I’m trying to be sensitive to their needs. You see, yet again I’ve fallen into the trap of believing what I read and what I am told rather than drawing my own conclusions........... making generalisations about strangers really is quite easy........... but also very lazy.

Here are my questions:
Why do UKIP voters consider that UKIP is an anti-establishment party when its leader is a privately educated, ex-city stockbroker who lives in the Home Counties?
What is UKIP’s policy on Education? Have they got one?
Do you believe it should be legal for a man to rape or assault his wife? UKIP do.
Do you believe all house building on the green belt should be stopped? UKIP do.
If you want to withdraw from the European Union, what will be the fate of the thousands of British retiree’s currently living in Spain and Portugal? Surely if they have to return to Britain, will we not have a lot of disorientated, sunburnt geriatrics, high on sangria and Werthers Originals, wandering the streets looking to buy a two day old Daily Mail?
Do you believe that the NHS should be privatised? UKIP do.
Do you really believe that Maternity Pay should be withdrawn? UKIP do.
Do you really believe that there should be a flat rate of tax, (30%- 35%?), where multi millionaires pay the same rate of tax as somebody earning £10,000 per annum. UKIP do.
Do you believe employment rights should be watered down for employees who work for small and medium businesses (holiday pay removed?) to the point where workers are nothing more than waged slaves who can be sacked at the whim of a boss?  UKIP do.
If Britain withdraws from Europe, how will UKIP replace the jobs lost when companies such as Nissan relocate to mainland Europe?
If Britain withdraws from Europe what is UKIP’s policy for helping British companies cope with the increase in trade tariffs they will have to pay, which will inevitably lead to price increases?
Why does Nigel Farage pronounce his surname Feraj, when surely it should be pronounced rhyming with garage?

Why did 6 UKIP MEP's vote against a resolution that would prevent the illegal trade of ivory into Europe as well as leading to stockpiles of ivory being destroyed.. The MEP's were Nigel Farage, Paul Nuttall Gerrard Batten,John Stuart, William Dartmouth and Derek Roland.View image on Twitter

Why did Nigel Farage give an endorsement for e-cigarettes? Did it have anything to do with UKIP receiving a £50,000 donation from an e-cigarette manufacturer? That appears a bit smelly. Imagine the scandal if it was discovered that a party leader from the Tories, Labour or the Libdem’s had espoused the benefits of, say, placing a bet on the Grand National, only for it to be discovered they had received a donation from the gambling industry.

This is not an exhaustive list, but, as apparently, Ukippers are supposedly less educated, I will restrict the list, as I don’t want to tire you out. Oh know I’ve done it again. This lazy stereotyping is so easy to do,...... isn’t it?

These questions, or more pertinently the answers, are the real tests for supporters of UKIP as to whether UKIP is a serious political party. At the moment the jury is out, so far out its almost invisible to the eye. Perhaps blaming immigrants for the failures in your own lives is a convenient approach; you portray yourselves as unwitting victims of devious foreigners, rather than confronting politicians who consistently fail you. Some say that once you introduce Hitler into the argument you have lost it, but using Hitler is useful shorthand for demonstrating how politicians use a vulnerable minority within society as scapegoats, with the objective of achieving their own political aims whilst hiding their failures. The only difference in the 21st century is that politicians are much more subtle about it.

The crux of the problem is not UKIP’s blatantly anti-foreigner agenda and its underlying misogyny and homophobia. As I have previously said, in this rambling and somewhat incoherent at times blog ( I did make it clear at the outset I was drunk, so you've only got yourself to blame reader), I understand the racist bit to a degree, I just question the way UKIP  supporters are channelling it. I personally think supporters of UKIP are just dupes of a small coterie of self interested individuals who, if cut in two would have ‘working for the benefit of the privileged white upper middle class establishment’ stamped all the way through them. If UKIP supporters’ really were anti-establishment you would support a left wing party such as The Socialist Workers Party or any party that supports a true meritocracy rather than this quasi meritocracy we currently inhabit. Maybe you could embrace Liberation Theory, now that would scare the bejesus out of the establishment ( hee hee see what I did there, Liberation Theory, bejesus.... brilliant), yet many UKIP supporters are staunch monarchists, and the Monarchy are about as establishment as it gets and are definitely not advocates of helping the poor break the shackles of poverty and rise up. Who would put the toothpaste on their toothbrushes in the morning?

The cogent question will always be whether UKIP has realistic and responsible plans for government that will benefit the nation and whether those plans can bear scrutiny, or is it just a party of middle-aged, florid faced, white men in old school ties and blazers, trying to exorcise their inbred phobias about ‘darkies’, ‘chinks’, pakis,’ and ‘commies’, and are keen to break free from the manacles of a Europe that makes all our laws, spits in our food when we’re not looking and would sleep with our wives if it wasn't for the fact that they are all gay ( the Europeans, not the wives). Oh no.... guess what I just did there, yep,... that’s right.

The answers to the rhetorical questions I have posed are proof that UKIP are not really a fully formed inclusive party with workable solutions or policies for a nation, and that UKIP, like the current coalition government, is really only concerned with serving the interests of a small self perpetuating cohort of their golf and country club mates. This anti-establishment bluster is just a smokescreen. UKIP is as much a part of the establishment as a bowler hat, pinstripe suit and black umbrella. Probably Farage’s choice of dress during all those years he spent among his banker and stock broker buddies.

So to conclude this rambling odyssey with concise answers to the questions posed in the heading.

Is UKIP racist? Yes, because their policies and views are based on generalisations and stereotypes and not on facts.

Is UKIP anti-establishment? No. It is populated by ex- bankers, royalists, reactionaries, defrocked former conservatives, denizens of the Home Counties and ex-public school boys with a few working class oiks thrown in for colour. It is as establishment as the Public School System, The Military, The Monarchy and The Civil Service

Be careful what you wish for Ukippers. Be very careful what you wish for.

Footnote: I would like to make it clear that when I claim that we are all racist to varying degrees I mean all. Asian, African, Hispanic, White, Arab, Black, Slavic, Scandinavian, Afro Caribbean etc. All creeds and all colours.

Prince Charles.
I’m no supporter of the Monarchy, I’m of the ‘come the revolution’ brigade, but on his comments about Putin he was right. Putin is acting like Hitler. Hitler illegally annexed the Sudetenland to supposedly protect ethnic Germans rights in the same way Putin illegally annexed the Crimea to supposedly protect the rights of ethnic Russians.
Facts are facts and the truth often hurts.

Facts not Populist Bul*Sh*t from the media and the BBC.

Here is what REALLY happen during the recent council elections.

Liberal Democrats lost 254 seats.
Tories lost 172 seats.
UKIP gained 128 seats.
Labour GAINED! (although you wouldn't believe it from the media coverage, particularly the BBC's), 334 seats!

Tories Lost! 12 councils.
Ukip gained none.
Labour WON! 5 councils.

and finally. Ukip's vote was 6% down! on the previous council elections.

Police Complaint.
A manager of a luxury designer handbag shop has described the police’s reaction to a £150,000 burglary at his shop as lacklustre. I think someone should tell the manager of the luxury goods shop that it’s not just the police who don’t give a sh*t about his burglary.

The Humility of a Grieving Mother and the Indifference of Politicians.

The mother in question lost her son, Stephen, in Nigeria. He was working as a Quantity Surveyor when he was kidnapped by members of Boko Haram. Unfortunately Stephen was murdered. The perpetrators were jailed. Stephens’s mother was asked whether she objected to her son’s murderers being released in exchange for the young girls recently kidnapped in Nigeria. She did not. She was then asked whether she hated her son’s murderers. Her response was admirable. She said, and I paraphrase, that her son would not want her to judge the people concerned and he would want her to try and understand the lives of her son’s murderers and how they got to where they are. I applaud Stephens’s mother for her humility, her grace and her humanity. She puts the majority of politicians, with their relentless and self serving scaremongering tactics, to shame. It made me proud to think that someone who had suffered such a devastating loss could still hold such a considered and rational view, when so many people in Britain are happy to lie back and be spoon fed reactionary, self serving bull crap by politicians and the media alike, instead of getting off their fat arses and attempting to rationalise and understand the lives of others, themselves.
I am not condoning the actions of Boko Haram. Kidnapping and forcibly converting young girls to another religion is evil and wrong, as is going into villages and raping, murdering and stealing. The perpetrators should receive severe punishment. But neither do I condone the government troops of a country, going into towns and villages, under the veil of ‘fighting terrorism’ and ethnically cleansing minorities or followers of a different religion, or political opponents, and butchering and killing the civilian population. I do  not condone murder, rape, kidnapping and forced conversion and I do not condone government agents committing atrocities upon an innocent civilian population either.
It is expedient and far to convenient for people who choose to live in a fog of ignorance and wilfully ignore the fact that politicians across the world invariably act in a self serving and mendacious manner and, happily aided by camp followers and the media, will implement ideological policies, adopt stances or instigate the cleansing of opponents. All of which have far ranging effects both nationally and internationally.
A prime current example of politicians acting in the interests of self concern is the incompetence of the Nigerian government, who’s only apparent response so far to releasing the kidnapped girls is for the wife of Nigerian president, Goodluck Jonathan, to try and grab some of the international limelight by ordering the mother of one of the kidnapped girls to be arrested, because she had the temerity to criticise the government’s pathetic response. If these young girls had been the daughters of Nigerian military chiefs or the Nigerian elite, the response would have been very different, but unfortunately they are daughters of families that live in a poor and remote area of Nigeria, so are considered unimportant and of little consequence. If it wasn't for the outrage of the international community these young girls would probably soon be forgotten. Even now, because of the delayed response, most of the girls will probably have been dispersed throughout the continent. The logistics of keeping almost 300 young women fed and watered would be challenging for most people, let alone a ragtag band of Islamic militants.
Another contemporary example of politicians indifference to ordinary people is the cold-hearted and disgraceful response to the Turkish mining disaster by Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who, instead of having a compassionate and sympathetic attitude to people who have lost loved ones, decided to adopt the ‘ I’m not bothered that your sons, husbands, fathers or brothers are dead, I’m more concerned about my election ambitions and maintaining my lucrative power-base, than I am about almost 300 miners experiencing violent and agonising deaths in an unsafe mine, you are all worthless and expendable to me so why don’t you just shut up and go away’. An attitude vividly portrayed by the picture ( see below) of one of Erdogan’s aides kicking, ‘three or four times’, a mourner ,while the mourner was being held down by two specials forces operatives, a picture that was probably secretly cheered by thousands of politicians across the world. Also, allegedly, there are also pictures of Erdogan attacking a protester, although these have not yet been published internationally. It’s easy to be brave when you have several heavily armed Special Forces operatives standing beside you.
One of Erdogan’s aides was photographed kicking a protester at Soma

Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan's aide,Yusuf Yerkel, demonstrates what politicians really think of the people they are supposedly elected to serve.

There is hardly a moment in history where the innocent have not had to endure hardship, injury or death, whether it be the first world war, the war in Iraq, millions experiencing famine and poverty or a disabled person being evicted from their home in "21st century Britain, because of an ideological ‘bedroom tax’ being imposed by the current British government, that cannot be traced back to mendacious, greedy and corrupt politicians.

A pox on all their houses.

Tax Avoiding ‘Celebs’.
It is heart warming to see ‘celebs’bravely avoiding their moral duty to pay the tax they owe. After all, instead of being fortunate enough to be born in a free democratic country that gave them a safe, clean environment to grow up in as well as opportunity, free education, free health care, roads, street lighting, clean water , The Beatles, free vaccinations, free emergency services, chocolate biscuits......... I could go on; they could have been born in a fly blown mud hut and died in infancy. So thanks for not adopting an ‘I’m alright Jack now I’m rich’attitude. It’s much appreciated.
There is an irony in the fate of one of the miscreants who has been caught avoiding tax. Tory voting Gary Barlow, (Sorry P****, but we must speak truth to the evil that man doeth), the song writing genius of Take That, known in some circles as the ‘Mancunian John Lennon’J, has been prominent with the charity Children In Need. Yet if Tory voting Gary Barlow paid his taxes, there would be a lot less children in need . How ironic is that?
However, I would like to put to bed a rumour that is currently circulating. There is no truth, that on this year’s Children In Need Day they will be announcing the amounts raised in multiples of how much Tory voting Gary Barlow avoided in tax.
i.e. “ the current total raised so far is” ( drum roll.....................) “43% of what Tory voting Gary Barlow avoided in taxes” Woo! Woo! Woo!
That definitely will not be happening. So stop spreading it about, it’s hurtful. ‘Celebs’ have feelings as well, you know. Ask anyone from the Hacked Off campaign.

Things that are still happening
  • ·         Gamekeepers are still illegally poisoning raptors with impunity, on behalf of the landowning barons.
  • ·         The unemployment figures are still being fiddled by the Coalition government.
  • ·         Mark Carney, The Governor of the Bank of England, is still playing the role of the Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne’s placeman, by not increasing, for electioneering purposes, interest rates.
  • ·         The United Kingdom Independence party is still riddled with racists and its leader, Nigel Farage, is still a privately educated ex-stockbroker living in the Home Counties.
  • ·         Animals are still having their throats slit and being left to die an agonising death because of someone’s irrational belief system.
  • ·         Free marketeers are still bullsh**ting us that poverty will be erased by ‘the trickledown theory’.
  • ·         Whenever there is a spell of warm weather I am still being visually assaulted by men wandering around bare-chested. Please! I beseech you. Have some dignity.
  • ·         Tony Abbot is still Prime Minister of Australia, which is the political equivalent of given a three year old child a loaded gun and letting him play in the communal area of an old people’s home. Neither scenarios are gonna end well.
  • And finally,
  • ·         The Syrian civil war is still being fought, and thousands of displaced refugees are still trying to eke out an existence in the Jordanian desert, although you wouldn't think so, considering the lack of coverage it is receiving in the media.

Man’s Inhumanity.
Two examples of the greed, avarice and inhumanity of man:

Example one:
A football stadium costing millions of dollars is built in Sao Paulo, Brazil, for the forthcoming world cup. The stadium is surrounded by slums and squatter camps where thousands of men, women and children are trying to scrape a living on a dollar a day.

Example two:
A lorry carrying chickens, crashes in England. The lorry is transporting not 100 live chickens, not 1000 live chickens, not even 3000 live chickens but 6800 live chickens. Can you imagine the conditions those creatures were experiencing, rammed into the back of a lorry, as they experienced their last few hours alive before being hung upside down by their feet, carried along a conveyor line, electrocuted, and then drowned.

Never does a day go by when I am not ashamed by the actions of my species.

What would you do?

What would you do if a family of Farages' moved in next door to you?

Schools Out! Again!

I see MP's ( Members of Parliament) are on holiday again. Yet another holiday starts today, only 19 days off this time though. They must be exhausted. After all it has been almost two weeks since their 18 day Easter break ended.

How do they cope.

Fat Andy: The Royal Buffoon.

Prince Andrew has burnished his credentials as an arrogant, boorish and out of touch member of the Royal family by praising the island kingdom of Bahrain, saying, 'I believe that what is happening in Bahrain is a source of hope for many people in the world and a source of hope for all Bahrainis'.

This is a regime that:

  • Represses the Shia majority.
  • Jails and tortures citizens who protest for democratic rights.
  • Arrests and detains protesters on vague and unsubstantiated charges.
  • Attacks, arrests and abuses female health workers and doctors who provide healthcare to protesters who have been attacked by police.
  • Discriminates against the majority Shia population.
  • Bulldozed 30 Shia mosques.
  • Brutally crushed Bahrain's equivalent of the 'Arab Spring'.
The torture comes in the form of electrocution, beating on the soles of the feet with rubber hoses, sleep deprivation and the threat of rape.

Prince Andrew is known as HBH; His Buffoon Highness by the British diplomatic community and is notorious for his arrogant behaviour and his embarrassing sycophancy, awed by their wealth and autocracy, towards the Gulf monarchs. It is said that he demands that his valet always carries an ironing board with him so that the Prince's trousers are ironed just right.
His championing of a State that is rife with violence, prejudice and sectarianism is frankly embarrassing for Britain and it is a disgrace that this royal buffoon should be acting as an ambassador and representative for Britain. After all Britain is still having to live down the shame of a member of the royal family ( Prince Andrew again!) being linked with the American billionaire paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein.

This man is living a life of luxury on the tax payers buck and is surplus to requirements. He should get a proper job, instead of living a life on benefits. Unfortunately, according to those in the know, he is as thick as a bag of s**t, so that might be a stumbling block for Fat Andy.

BBC Hypocrisy.

Television presenter uses N-Word on camera and is giving a stiff telling off, even though he has a litany of previous transgressions.

Local radio presenter, who has worked for the BBC for over 30 years, plays a record that, unknown to him, contains the N-Word. He is summarily sacked by the BBC.

Hypocrisy! Hypocrisy!Hypocrisy! Yes! Yes! Yes!

Police and Political Suppression.

A Twitter user tweets factually correct, but deeply unpalatable facts (see image below) about the policies of the United Kingdom Independence Party ( UKIP). A UKIP Councillor complains to the police, who visited the tweeter, where they, and this is the really sinister aspect, asked the tweeter not to mention they had come around, before asking him to take the tweet down, even though they accepted no law had been broken, there was no charge to answer and it wasn't a police matter.

It is obvious, from the current governments policies, that they want to regress Britain back to the 1850's. It looks like UKIP, by using the police as censors and suppressors of free speech, are hoping not to regress quite as far back. I think their aiming for 1930's Germany.

Heil Farage! Heil Farage!

Slaughter Without Stunning.

The slaughter of animals without stunning, whether it be halal or kosher slaughter, is disgusting, brutal and shameful and those who perpetrate it, condone it or encourage it, are disgusting, barbaric subhumans.

Hurrah! It's Official: We Can All Be Racists Now.

Yes folks, it’s official, we can all be racists now. You can use the derogatory N-word used for a black person, or you can refer to somebody of Asian descent as a ‘slope’ or you can make racists comments about people of Hispanic descent. You can do and say whatever you like, as long as you apologise afterwards!

Now I realise that within this blog I have used derogatory terms which all principled people will find offensive. I apologise. See, it’s easy.

Now my conscience is clear, I'll continue.

It is not me who has made racism acceptable again (as long as you apologise. Don’t forget now). It is the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and the Tory government minister Michael Gove ( By the way Gove is the Minster for Education, so no worries about racism being condoned by the government then).

This is the story so far. Jeremy Clarkson is a television presenter. Those of you who suffer from severe arrested development may have seen him presenting the BBC show ‘Top Gear’. He presents it alongside two more pathetic excuses for human beings, who stand by, passively watching and grinning like useful idiots, as Clarkson spews bile about Mexicans or lorry drivers murdering prostitutes or Asian people or anybody else he considers himself superior to. One co-presenter is a short arsed little f**kwit known as the ‘hamster’ although he evidently lacks the guts of a hamster or else he might have stepped in by now and told Clarkson that his reactionary, bigoted, and backward views are no longer acceptable in 21st  century Britain. Instead I expect the ‘hamster’ goes home and counts his money before masturbating over a photograph of Clarkson. The other co-presenter is a sort of man child, a twelve year old stuck in a 50+ year old body, which looks like it’s made of cardboard, excrement and dough. You get the feeling he can’t wait to rush home to finish building a scaled down version of HMS Ark Royal out of an Airfix kit before taking out 'his' cherished, but heavily stained, photograph of Clarkson.
As previously established, Clarkson is a foul mouthed buffoon. He has now decided to buff up his repulsive, reactionary and disgusting image by doing a piece to camera using a children’s counting game which in the dark ages involved the derogatory N-word for a black person. He at first denied he used the word before claiming, hilariously, that he was horrified that he had apparently used the word and had tried everything possible not to use it. Anybody would think that when he used the word he actually wasn't there at the time or he didn't realise that the best way not to say a word is, well, by not saying it. Now you may well feel that because he has apologised, it should all be forgotten. After all we all make mistakes, but this ignorant bigot has a track record, some of which I detail below, and this ignorant bigot is paid with license fee payers’ money. I don't care what he says, I know he is a giant f**kin* kno**ead. I laugh at the moron, almost pity him, at times, but I am not prepared to pay for the platform that allows him to air his nasty, repugnant and xenophobic views. He can spray his hate preaching around on the channels of a privately financed broadcaster not a public funded one such as the BBC.

Some of Clarkson’s previous abhorrent remarks:
·         Using the N-word whilst doing a piece to camera.
·         'One eyed idiot'. A remark made about Gordon Brown, who is blind in one eye.
·         Referring to an Asian man as a ‘slope’. During a Top Gear programme in which they built a bridge over a Burmese river. As a local walked across the bridge, Clarkson commented 'That's a proud moment but there's a slope on it'.
·         Making racist remarks about Mexicans. He characterised Mexicans as 'lazy and feckless, a flatulent oaf with a moustache, leaning against a fence, asleep.
·         Saying that the bodies of anyone who commits suicide on a railway line should be chucked on the side of the track and left to be eaten by foxes and birds.
·         Saying that public sector workers should be taken out an executed in front of their families.
·         Making offensive remarks about 'simpletons' and referring to a vehicle as 'special needs'.

The BBC has said they have given him a stiff telling off (OOOO!!!, scary). A government minister (Gove) has said it should all be forgotten now that Clarkson has apologised , and we all know that the BBC will always kow-tow when the Tories come a knocking, even more so, considering Clarkson belongs to the ‘Chipping Norton’ set. An area of rural Oxfordshire that is populated by vacuous d-list celebs, chinless hoorays and ex-members of the Bullingdon Club, ex-newspaper editors, celebrity chefs, as well as The Prime Minister, David Cameron (another former member of the aforementioned Bullingdon Club). They all meet, socialise and party together, so a government effort to close down a scandal that involves one of their own is not surprising. After all, the Tory cabinet is littered with PR trained Jeremy Clarkson’s.
Clarkson thinks he is a maverick who operates on the edge.. He is the exact opposite. He is the establishment. He is just another boorish braying cog in the establishment machine. A machine who's main objective is to crush progressiveness in favour of the old reactionary tropes. To try and regress back to a time that never existed for many, where you could call a gay man a 'bummer' of an Asian man a 'Paki' and there might be crumpets for tea. A world where white men could exert there supposed colonial superiority over the 'unter mensch'. Clarkson is a classic product of these racist, homophobic and misogynistic throwbacks. He couldn't be anymore conformist if he tried.
The truth is, Clarkson considers himself untouchable. Because of the commercial interests of the BBC and his establishment and celebrity links he thinks he can do and say as he pleases and there will be no repercussions.
The reality is, Clarkson is an unpleasant, repellent and loathsome repository for unpleasant, repellent and loathsome views. When his pet labrador died, many people took to twitter with some cruel and unnecessary tweets. This annoyed and upset Clarkson. He took to Twitter to complain and whine, saying that 'Britain was a nation of 62 million bastards'. Apparently he arrogantly considers it acceptable for him to make unpleasant and repugnant comments about others, but, surprise-surprise, like all bully’s, he doesn't like it when the boot is on the other foot.
The BBC should sack Clarkson, because if they do not, they are either condoning the actions of all closet bigots who think it’s ‘political correctness gone mad’ that their right to free speech is infringed because they can no longer call, for example, a gay man a ‘poofter’, an Asian man a ‘slope’ or a lesbian a ‘dyke’ or the BBC is saying that there is a hierarchy of offenders, where the wealthy, the powerful, or those that are considered of commercial benefit, are given a blank cheque to say whatever they like without any repercussions as long as they apologise.
It is no surprise the Tories have waded in on the side of Clarkson. The Tory party is a bastion of reactionary views and full of closet racists, bigots, homophobes and misogynists. I expect their houses are full of Top Gear box sets as well as several stained photographs of Jeremy Clarkson.

Oh, and I can hear all you 19th century knuckle-draggers screaming, 'bleeding heart liberal', but it's nothing to do with left or right ,but it has everything to do with right and wrong.

Crisis in the Care Industry.
The recent revelations of the discovery of more ill treatment in another care home should not be a surprise. The care industry is populated by barely  literate and poorly trained staff , who have difficulty getting a job anywhere else. Most job pages in local newspapers are full of care home vacancies. Some homes advertise continually. Caring for the elderly should be a vocation, not a job you are forced to do due to lack of opportunity. I would respect someone who turned down a job in a care home because they felt they did not have the necessary skills and compassion, far more than someone who took a job just for the money. The quality of care in care homes will not improve all the time we allow unsympathetic and poorly trained staff to work there and venture capitalists and unscrupulous business people, who are only concerned with the profit motive, to buy, own and eventually sell on homes for a quick buck.
The elderly are now seen as a commodity to be monetised, and staff are a poorly paid necessity to ensure large profits for the owners. Next time you visit a care home, look in the car park for the biggest and most expensive vehicle. That vehicle will probably belong to the owner. Although it will be a surprise if they are there at all, more likely, while your mother or father is lying in a puddle of urine for five hours, the absentee owners will probably be on another Caribbean holiday.

Tube Strike.
Apparently there is, or there has been, or there might be, a tube strike in London. I don’t really care. Some of the commuters have had to endure extreme hardship. One commuter complained that it was outrageous and that she would have to walk almost two miles to work, while another tearfully explained that he had to get on a bus and sit next to poor people who weren’t educated privately and wore trainers instead of a nice smart pair of brogues. Oh the humanity.

Trickle Down Theory: A Definition.
99% of the population, on their knees, looking skyward, with their mouths agape, waiting to catch a rancid dribble of wealth that has escaped from the off shore accounts of the tax avoiding 1%.
