The Death of Daniel Pelka.

Four year old Daniel Pelka, was tortured, beaten, starved, poisoned and eventually murdered by his mother,Magdalena Luczak, and step-father, Mariusz Krezolek. To see pictures of the small blonde haired boy, smiling into the camera, realising the hell that was being inflicted upon him is heartbreaking. The questions being asked now is why? and how?

Why? is a simple question to answer. Humans are a cruel, vicious, self centred species and Luczak and Krezolek are prime examples of the pernicious and venal human condition that is demonstrated on a daily basis, whether it be through wars, animal cruelty or infanticide. After all, we currently have a government that is currently glorying in the demonising and persecution of the weak and vulnerable in society, knowing full well they cannot defend themselves. The behaviour and actions of Luczak and Krezolek are just an extension and by-product of what the Tory government is encouraging the public to indulge in, with the present persecution of the disabled and low paid. Luczak and Krezolek also thought they could get away with it. 

The question how? is more disturbing. How teachers missed the abuse that was plainly evident is incomprehensible. Why action wasn't taken when he was seen scavenging for food in bins or as he deteriorated physically and mentally is inexplicable. Why doctors did not take action when he was examined is unfathomable.

 Daniel was betrayed by his school, by health professionals and by social services. He was tossed onto the bonfire of self interest. Cast aside in the interests of self preservation. What other reason could there be? This  is the society that is being created. "Look after number one", "there's no such thing as society". We have a government that starves social services of funds, yet gives away millions, in tax breaks, to companies that want to rape the countryside, in search of shale gas that may last no longer than ten years. Profit motive, short-term-ism and self interest is the cancer of contemporary society. "How will it affect me?" is the question asked, before anybody considers helping another.

Luczak and Krezolek are evil individuals. They are also a symptom of a cold, selfish and calculating society that has been created by cold, selfish and calculating politicians, ably supported by their  right wing reactionary camp followers and groupies.

May you rest in peace, Daniel, I hope you are experiencing a peace you were never allowed to enjoy during your short brutalised life. I'm sorry. I let you down. We all let you down.

Talking Of Right Wing Groupies.

I see Toby Young, a well known reactionary right wing groupie and world renown breast spotter on PMQ's, in a desperate attempt to repair the damage inflicted on him by Labour MP Stella Creasy, on BBC's Newsnight,has written an opinion piece in the Daily Telegraph. The piece, which is a mixture of whining schoolboy, victim-hood and  pomposity with a whiff of feminist conspiracy theory, seems to have rallied the brigades of misogynists, racists and misanthropes to the flag, who it would appear have decanted from Twitter and are now populating the comment pages of the right wing rags. The concentration of women haters, racists and islamophobics, among the commenters, was so high, it gave you a real feel of what it must be like, late at night, in a public school dormitory.

Richard "Marie Antoinette" Benyon.

Tory Wildlife Minister, Benyon, has told poor families to " eat their leftovers". Benyon, the richest minister in the cabinet, is known for his grouse slaughtering proclivities and is due to inherit £110 million from his fathers estate. He is also a giant f*cki*g kn*bh**d.

Bradley Manning.

As Bradley Manning is ceremonially burnt upon the altar of American hypocrisy.You realise that freedom, truth and democracy are just words. They don't really mean it, do they!
